The Blind Munchies Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Menomonie

As the previous owner of a coffee shop, I am always on the hunt for good coffee everywhere I go. I moved to the Menomonie area about a year ago and this was one of the first places I tried.

Honestly, The Blind Munchies is in my top 2. It's pretty hard to find good coffee here.

I can't remember the exact name of the drink I ordered, but I know it had coconut and chocolate in it! I really, really loved it. The only issue was that ALL of the chocolate sat on the bottom and the last sip was 100% chocolate.

I'm not going to complain too much since I love chocolate, but I always made sure to stir every drink I ever made when I worked at my shop... it's a pet peeve of mine, I guess.

I'm not sure if their indoor shop is open anymore, since every time I stop by nowadays they have their outdoor coffee trailer set up... but the photos are from a year ago when my partner and I were able to go inside.

If you're in the Menomonie area, I highly recommend The Blind Munchies and Golden Leaf Café!...

My son and I visited the coffee camper yesterday on the street side. You couldn’t ask for a greater guy!! Everyone knew him by name, he knew their orders before they got to the window, big smiles for all 😊 What an amazing convenient spot and a place to feel a little more loved.

Then!!!! We stepped inside to the larger bakery shop down the stairs and I wanted to move right in!! The atmosphere was incredible, inviting and eclectic; it took you away from everything! Coffee and lunch, bakery…

Shawn also attends a men’s group right there that he really really likes. It has lots of areas where many small groups could break out privately. What a positive powerful place...

Blind Munchies is my favorite coffeehouse in Menomonie and in my top three favorites of anywhere I have been. Truly a local gem. All of their food and drinks are high quality and made in-house, but very reasonably priced and support a nonprofit. (My current favorite is their matcha latte and grilled cheese!) All of the baristas and staff are helpful and patient. I appreciate that they let me add all the veggies to the grilled cheese haha.
