Mr. Hero — Restaurant in Mentor

This place reuses old food for orders. They stole money from me and refuse to refund it. This was their response to me:

"Sorry for inconvenience first of all it’s not true you called store 25 minutes later you placed order we can not cancel order after we prepared food and when you came to store we can’t give you 40 minutes old food we have to make new food you were not ready to wait for 5 minutes to get fresh food thanks for your understanding"

This is a BLATANT lie. I was at the restaurant and they did not have my food prepared because THEY WERE REUSING THE FOOD that they had prepared for other orders and when I asked to cancel they refused. After I had paid $20.77 I was literally in their lobby and they would not give me my food and they would not give me a refund. You can see from Management's response that they are 100% admitting to this. And yet I'm still sitting here with no refund and I never received my food.

They say that I didn't want to wait 5 minutes for food, this is absolutely untrue I was in the lobby arguing for more than 5 minutes, at the end she told me I was not even allowed to get my food that I had to leave empty-handed and the owner would be in touch to give me my refund which was a complete lie. I knew I was getting absolutely nowhere with her so I just left. I'm going to create an account every single day and leave a one star review on here until you refund me my money.

You literally STOLE FROM ME. Congratulations, you're about to tank your business rating on Google...

This place literally robbed me. I ordered food here online by mistake. When I called to cancel, the woman who was a manager was extremely rude and made an insulting comment about my intelligence

Since I was not able to cancel the order, I drove up to the restaurant to get it. However, when I arrived I was told that they were reusing my order as food for other orders for customers that were currently waiting in the lobby.

This is obviously illegal, and disgusting so I asked them to refund my money and cancel the order again. The manager refused, so I repeated myself, can you please just cancel the order and refund my money. She then proceeded to get in an argument with me in front of other customers in the middle of the store about how she was not going to refund my money and that I also was not going to get my food.

The order that I had placed was over $20 for a sandwich fries and a drink, and not only did I not get my food I was made to leave the restaurant with no refund and I was told that the owner would be contacting me within 48 hours. It is now been 4 days, and I have not seen a refund and I have not been contacted by a single employee. I filed motions with the better Business bureau and with corporate headquarters of Mr hero, and I hope to be hearing back about this refund shortly or I will be taking this to social media and exposing you for reusing food that is 40 minutes old.

This place is awful first of all I always call and go pick it up and pay and when I did that and got there, they would already have the order rang up. All I would have to do is get my debit card ready not in this case, when I arrived, she rang it up, even though I already told her my order over the phone proceeded to pay for my order and she did not charge me for the right size drink she didn’t listen at all and got offered and said i didn’t talk to you like I care? Then she tried to make me pay again A little more extra for the large size drank and then finally someone came over and finally gave me what I’ve been asking for I also got a 10 inch sandwich and they cut it into twos they never do that it’s always three like these people just genuinely suck...
