Interurban Coffeehouse Bakery & Juicery — Restaurant in Mequon

Upon my first visit, I had a great experience with the barista. I ordered a ham and butter baguette, along with a blackberry and oat milk latte iced. I received the ham and butter baguette within a couple of minutes, as others were ordering I was becoming worried as to where my drink was as they were making drinks and serving for others who were after me. As I waited I tried the ham and butter baguette...was very disappointed, the bread was hard as a rock but the ham on it was pretty good. Once I was ready to leave I went to the counter to see if I could have my drink/more so see where it was cause 30 minutes passed and I didn't get it yet. The two girls were super nice and said that they didn't know if I got it and drank the drink or if they never made it. It would have been nice for them to come up and ask me instead of me coming up after 30 minutes as I was leaving. But they made the drink and I was on my way. First time here. Stopped in late morning. It's in the Foxtown Market, right next to Heritage Meats. It's right off the Interurban recreational trail (hence the name). It's a nice space, with seating both inside or outside (a covered patio with overhead heaters for chilly days). There are plenty of tables for groups of different sizes. Lots of natural light from the large windows. Along with coffee, and beverages, they have a selection of pastries and cookies.

Got a friendly greeting from both the cashier and barista. Ordered a London Fog Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam), and a Chocolate Croissant). The barista did a great job with the drink (steeped the tea and left the bag in), great foam on top. The croissant was fresh, tender, and flaky. With just enough chocolate filling.

Overall it has a relaxed feel. With one exception. There is a television. Not of a fan of those devices. And although it has a nice selection of pastries, they were missing scones (IMHO). It's nice enough that I...

It’s new, and you are making a BIG mistake if you miss this newly opened coffee shop just off Mequon quietly nestled in the parking lot by the condos, across from Mequon Public Market. Spotless, great relaxing e environment. I’m thinking, what a great quiet place to bring your morning church group, coffee meeting here. I love the 7am-3 pm hours. Only bummer is closed Monday & Tuesday. Tuesday, I get it, but after a weekend I need this Monday. So please bring your business here so we only give them a break Tuesdays. Deli opening next door connecting it by end of summer. Meat market is already open and connected next door and we bought great cuts of meat and prepared single-serving meat, chicken and fish.
