I enjoyed the atmosphere/ decor, cleanliness and food. The waitress was not attentive..she was young in her late 20's blonde and seeming More intrested in talking to the guy that works there. My husband and I had waved our hands and nothing finally..since No one was in the resturant I shouted. Excuse me! And asked her for the condiments We needed. Mustard..and straws. Finally we had to get up go the counter and ask the young lady in a bonnet for a sliver of pie because the other girl nevercame back and then this lady behind the counter charged us for our entire meal before we finished eating I went back to get my purse and pay. I was thinking oh wow this is the weirdest way to pay. Then we say back down to eat our pie after paying and the lady said...ohhh I thought you were done. I had to explain the waitress never came back so We had to ask for our pie at thecounter. We came in at 4pm i believe 5:30 you close but she never left. She was our check in girl and she took our order. She was friendly though. I still tipped her 10% but i might as well of made these sandwiches at home for a $39.00 bill... Just to be begging to be served. The food was good though. I had a BLT and my husband had a philly cheese steak we both had fruit and him a soda. By the way this has happened in the past and that's why I rarely go here. It's not worth the money for unattentive staff. I have been with large groups in the afternoon. And the waitress was more friendly and attentive but not by much. We still had to flag her down for a refill. There pie was a French silk pie and that was delicious!. I had to go to a late Dr.s appt. with my daughter so I didn't take pictures like I normally do. I really wish this review went better..but it's the truth how my experience went. Like I mentioned food was really good and the place was clean and it is a nice place to eat. I will probably comeback with my group of girlfriends..because 1 likes to come here.. But I won't ever come alone or with my husband or a friend. Only because of they unattentivness I've got each time alone. If you like the place the points system they have with their card is worth it..because they send...

I did try going back at my mom's request. I will say, it was like a whole new experience. I was very, very happy with the service and food. I ordered the French Dip and I'll say it was very good. They were busy but still managed to give everyone equal attention. I'm happy I went back! I will return again.
(First review) After years of my mom and aunt talking about how great this place was, we decided to try. We stood at the sign that said wait here for about 20 minutes while several people looked right at us and passed us up. I finally walked to the register and asked if we could have a table. The four women who were there seemed bothered that I broke protocol and kept discussing between them who would sit us. When we did get seated, we were put in the far, far back and ignored.
The food came out in good time, I will give them that. It is no better than Denny's. All the same, but at least Denny's is less expensive. We waited on any kind of spoon to stir the coffee and after 3 reminders, it still never made it to our table yet three other tables were given utensils upon request. Was it our location? Who knows.
Once the waitress, Maggie, took our order, she was attentive and helpful. She was super friendly and always around. She was the saving grace for this place for me. Amongst all her co-workers, she was the one who seemed to care about the customer.
Overall, I'll come back if my group had a majority vote...
Read moreFood was just OK, maybe not excellent comparing to the other sandwich stores. However, the welcoming was really bad. The hostess was tired and confused. After waiting for 10 min in front of "wait to be seat" sign, nobody said a word why/how long we would be there yet the girls behind the counter all saw us. I got a rude voice from a senior lady when asked if they were closed. She said that she would let us seat once the tables were ready:) If we were told this maybe we would not be annoyed that much. Finally, she came back to take us to our table. In between 3 tables, she chose for us a table which was isolated, closer to their banquet room, away from everyone, yet the other 2 were available!! Both of us, my husband and I did not accept the table and had to argue to get what we wanted. It was a simple lunch that turned in it to a word-duello till we lost our interest to the place or to their food etc. Of course, we did not leave the store. A nice lady came to take care of us and got our order and we completed our lunch in a better mood with her help.
The sandwich breads were really fresh and delicious. But the amount of content in sandwich was very limited. I added mushroom and got the sautéed green pepper. Coffee was nice and went well with the pie.
We will not going back...
