Michaels — Local services in Merced

Very friendly staff everytime I shop there any person that’s working is always so sweet and they’re always helpful and go above and beyond. I go there a lot for yarn, my toddler comes with me and they recently had a craft table set up for children to make valentines, the lady who was at the table was so good with my daughter and my daughter was so happy with her valentine she made. It really made our day going in there. I will say I choose going here over the other craft store in town, because everytime I go to the other craft store the sales on yarn aren’t as often and the people there have been rude (completely unprompted lol just asking where things are in the store, how much an item is etc) on several occasions from several different people working there. Went in there on Sunday around 5:30-6:00pm with family members, the cashier was nice enough to guide us to the isle where he contacted another employee to help us. When the other employee came to help, she said that they did not carry a smaller version the item we needed so we decided to carry on and look around the store. The female worker then proceeded to walk 3-4 isles down to loudly gossip and make fun about us to the other female employees in the middle of the main isle while other customers were walking around about wondering why we needed a smaller version of the item when they don’t have the item in general. Micheal’s is located near the Merced Mall. The store isn’t huge but it isn’t very small either. As you approach the building I found bins outside the store filled with pumpkins that were on sale amongst a few other seasonal items. Once inside the store someone greets you and welcomes you into the store. To the left of me are the registers. To the right are floral arrangements and accessories and directly in front of me are the seasonal items. I was kinda disappointed to see some shelves already empty. It’s too soon to have empty shelves. I found the prices a bit higher than Hobby Lobby and not as many sale items. Employees were friendly. Store was clean overall I give...
