I want to preface this review with first stating that Pizza Factory has always been my favorite pizza. When it came to Merced I was excited. When I first visited the restaurant I had a very poor experience, I tried it one more time and was so disappointed I counted the Merced pizza factory out and literally would drive to the atwater PF due to price and topping generosity. I have been on the text deals for a while, and PF Merced and PF Atwater's advertisements go to the same number. I had a FB discussion with the owners of PF Merced and let them know that they were loosing on competition due to always having more expensive specials than PF Atwater. Recently they matched PF Atwaters special so I decided to give them another shot, and BEHOLD amazing juicy cheezy crispy pizza PERFECTION. Their quality is immensely better, and now they match the Atwater deals. What drove me to write this review today is I have had their pizza twice in the last two weeks, and I saw a special today for 2 2-topping mediums for $22, and I wanted to order to show them I support their current approach to sales and quality, but I can't eat more pizza today or my jeans will be tight tomorrow. So Long story short I want to say try this place, give them one more chance if you have written them off in the past. They are absolutely fantastic and have fantastic deals. This is the best pizza place in the...
Read moreWell how do I start this? When I first walked in I was happy to see such a nice place that hasn't fallen to the elements of Merced. Then I asked for the specials, or "special". $44.00 for one large speciality pizza, cheesy bread stick, and four drinks. Wow! Not much of a deal for pizza made with spaghetti sauce and hand tossed half cooked pizza dough. So after hearing the "special" I ordered one large two topping pizza with two drinks. $29.77 was the end of my bill. When looking at my ticket I noticed the price of pizza alone was $23.00 and the sodas was $2.25 each. The pizzas are $5.00 over priced and the sodas being the price that they are should've been paper cups so the customer can take a soda for the road. To add the staff didn't give off a good cheerful mood when walking up to the counter. Only one person made eye contact with me. I believe the prices are what they are because it's to cater certain class of individuals. If anyone wants to pay this price for GOOD pizza I recommend Pizza By the Oven on Main street next to Cold Stone. Pizza factory can suck it.

Read moreWent there today. When I walked in it was very warm and humid in the restaurant, looking back that should have been my first sign to leave. I paid $20 for the lunch buffet for both me and my daughter. There was a very very little selection to offer, basically a few slices on one pizza sheet. I thought, well that's ok they are probably making more. When I went up to see if they had any pepperoni pizza or anything else other than the few slices of olive pizza and Hawaiian and if they could make a pepperoni, I was told No, that they do not have anything else and will not be making anymore pizza, what is there is there and that's all. I was upset, if it wasn't for me having my daughter with me and my baby I would have been more outspoken. I paid $20 for us to have just a couple slices of pizza. I could have had better service and more offered to me at any other establishment. Very poor customer service and pricey with little to nothing to provide for a so called "buffet". To top it off, what looked like the manager was watching the t.v's most of the time....
