I ordered the lobster and shrimp garlic noodles. It was just chow mein. I did not see or taste any garlic at all. I dug all around and showed my husband and he couldn't find any garlic either. He tried it too and said it was just chow mein. We asked if we could get more garlic sauce, but the cook said that it was used to make the noodles already and there wasn't anymore. I bit into the lobster and it was raw on the inside. I'll attach a picture to show what I mean. I told the server and she offered to bring it back to have it cooked longer. She comes back a minute later and says the cook said it's ok to eat that way. I know some people don't mind raw seafood, but I am not one of those people. I prefer my seafood cooked since I don't know how fresh it is. My husband had the beef pho and the flavor was bland, but he enjoyed the meats and tendon. He said the broth was "ok" but definitely on the plain side. The customer service was lacking. The cook didn't seem to want to help at all and didn't even try to make things right. We are definitely not going back.

As we made our way into dinner. We searched up pho in Merced and Mr. Pho popped up on Google. Simply menu. Basically 3 or 4 items under a few different categories. I figured simple menu, simple food. I ordered the combination pho that comes with one beef rib. Priced at about $17, I figured this was the bowl. First off, this restaurant was apparently an old subway. Beef broth without any condiments was very beefy. That extra beef rib definitely added extra beefy taste to the pho. The bowl looked smaller than usual restaurant serving size but hey I found myself struggling to finish it off. The bowl did not let me off easy as I was fighting to the end to the last slurp of noodle and it was tasty throughout each slurp. Definitely caught me off guard seeing how simple this menu and restaurant was. Don't let the look turn you away as it almost did me. In the area, go try Mr. Pho.

First of all, great work staff, restaurant and restrooms are clean. I ordered the beef rib pho and bao buns. The beef rib pho was excellent. The beef rib was fall off the bone and tasty. Good amount of noodles, meat, meatballs, and tendons. Broth is definitely good. The bun was good as well, but if possible, I would like to see that the bun is much more warmer and softer when served. Lastly, would love it if chili oil was more spicy and pickled jalapenos were available. Overall, would eat here again. Keep it up! Note: I'm seeing some negative posts about the pho, but most people should be aware the food has more of a Vietnamese style taste. I would guess that the people who thinks the food is bad are individuals who don't travel outside the central valley often enough.

No I just want what I paid for thank you very much. No need to be rude just because you made a mistake. Update on FIRST review: came today to pick up lunch for me and another person. I got the hungry man plate with grilled pork, WITH EXTRA PORK AT AN EXTRA COST.... got home and saw they didn't add my fries egg, or the extra pork. I called let them know and they told me to come get the pork and egg since it wasn't there. I arrive and as I'm trying to get what was missing from my order the "Chef/Owner" wanted to come out and start arguing with me that he knows he put it on there when I eat there at least once and I know how much pork should be in there when I purchase extra pork. The chef/owner is rude and very disrespectful. Word of advice always check your food before taking it out of the restaurant. The front service members were a big help and were really apologetic for the way the chef/owner handled the situation. This guy really needs to learn how to speak to customers without trying to threaten or intimidate them.

FIRST REVIEW: I love this restaurant, the food is always on point and fresh. The flavors are amazing as well. The staff is wonderful and always...

This place has only been open 3 weeks...I ordered a bowl of Pho and the plate of bean sprouts, and basil was rotten! I couldn't believe my eyes! The basil was blotchy dark slimey green and the bean sprouts were going soft and brown. So I sent it back and I see her digging in the basil looking for good peices, and I'm thinking it's all contaminated what are you doing. So she brings me less contaminated peices and still soft brown sprouts. The portion of sprouts and basil was so tiny too. I would leave zero stars if I could....the waitress was completely clueless too. The menu is terrible...a xerox piece of paper that is difficult to read. There is only one price for a regular bowl of Pho which is about $14. Whether you choose up to 3 proteins in your bowl or go veggie, it's still $14. The waitress was totally confused when I questioned why it is $14 if I only wanted one protein or wanted to go veggie.

It was just bad. I had to just walk out. This place won't last if they keep up what I went...
