Del Taco — Restaurant in Merced

I just came through the drive thru. I ordered 18 snack size soft tacos. They gave me 18 hard shell tacos at the window. I waved them back and told them I ordered all soft tacos.

Noemi comes to the window and says “I heard you- you ordered hard shell.” I said no I did not. I gave them the food back and asked them to make soft shells. She annoyed, took the tacos and said she would make them. She comes back and asked me to park up front so “she can help the people behind me.” I asked for her name. She said why? I said bc I am going to report this interaction bc I don’t appreciate being called a liar. I don’t like being talked to like poop and being told I said something I didn’t just bc they didn’t listen and made a mistake. I basically just wasted $30 bucks bc I’m sure they spit in my food. Noemi was SO rude, and kept repeating “I’m not the one who took your order.” Ok, well then why did you say “I heard you say crunchy?”

AWFUL experience. My husband comes here daily for his lunch at work....

I give a two star rating because my kids food was correct and they were able to eat their dinner. My food on the other hand was very incorrect. I asked for a chicken taco salad with absolutely no cilantro on it. When we got to the window we asked if all the cilantro was taken off. We were told yes. Well they didn’t tell us that pico de gallo was on the salad and that the guacamole had cilantro in it as well. I feel as though even if I told them I would die from cilantro, which I will, that they still would have left it on my salad. On top of that I wasn’t told that the chicken was made in cilantro as well. I was unable to eat my food. I do not suggest going here if you have severe allergies like I do, they will not...

Went through the drive thru and ordered my food! I felt I had a extra dollar on the bill! When I asked, I was told it was because I got beef and chicken is cheaper. The cashier asked if I wanted to change, I said no! I seen the manager and felt like I should bring it to his attention that the menu doesn’t reflect 1.00 more for beef! His smart response was it doesn’t say a dollar less for chicken! I told him he shouldn’t be talking to me like that! He laughed I also told him I would report him he laughed again! I filled out a survey and hopefully the higher up will clip his wings! Update I got sent a dollar off coupon on my next purchase of 3 dollars or more for filling out a complaint survey! Really a dollar!...
