Café Nashta — Restaurant in Mercedes

We originally came just looking for some Indian food. This was the only location relatively close to where we were, and so we came. The staff at Nashta did NOT disappoint with their food, service, and overall atmosphere. The food and quality of food were extravagant and did not take very long to arrive at our table. They gave plenty of meat and sauce to go with the rice. The drinks we got, as well as the desserts, were unique and different than anything we've ever gotten, yet it was still really good. As for the service, the staff, as well as what we believe to be the owner, regularly checked on us, ensuring everything was to our liking. This ties into the overall atmosphere. It was very comforting and was treated as if we were family or family friends. We've never had an experience quite like this, and I wish we could rate this even higher! In summary, the food was quickly made whilst maintaining a high standard, providing an exceptional proportion, and tasting amazing. The staff were very friendly and gave us a unique experience, a warm experience similar to that of being with family or close friends. I definitely recommend Cafe Nashta to anybody in the area. I live USA for almost 8 yrs and travel to many state and tried many Indian Pakistan restaurants

This is one of my worst Indo-Pakistan restaurant, Me and my wife went there and ordered chicken biryani , veggie biryani and aloo paratha They put lot of veggie and just small cup of rice I have never seen like this Biryani Worst taste in my life Worst customer satisfaction Owner is very rude , when we check out and I just told her “ your biryani is not good “ she told us “ don’t come next time , All Indian people like our food , who are you to told our biryani is not good “ me and my wife were shocked by this reply We are customers and we have right to give feedback about food so that you can improve your taste of food , One more thing Don’t trust the price on the menu They said they have special in launch and dinner but they charge by their own desire and price of food doesn’t match with menu respectively I would like to give this restaurant 0.5 /10 *Poor food quality *Rude owner *Price not match I usually don’t put review , I just eat and go but Strange reply from owner & worst taste of food makes me do that

Update my review: Food are super delicious, but the wait time are super long. We recommend this place to many people, and lets them know about 2 hours total visit time. It will not be quick visit. We place an order togo for pick up, it told us it would be done in 25 minutes. We kind of expect the delay from this place, and very sure food will not be done at that time. We add another stop to our trip, and we show up at 40 minutes after placing order. The food still not done, and we have to wait another 15 minutes for food. when I lets the owner know about time he told me I just place order 15 minutes ago. He showed me his phone and show me my expected pick up time. I had to scroll down and showed him my order time. I love your food so much, but please do something with your wait time.

Food here super delicious. This is our second time here. We love everything we tried. Staffs are very nice and helpful.
