Absolutely authentic, delicious, fresh and exciting. We randomly stopped in, as we don't live on Mercer Island, however, we will drive out here just for this delightful food.
This place is all about the food. It's a small, intimate atmosphere which made me reminiscent of the many places I ate while traveling Asia. I felt right at home.
We should have gotten the phad thai, it's the chefs signature dish. What we got was seriously tasty though. We had Larb Gai chicken salad which was fresh, bursting with herbs and tangy lime dressing. Chili fried rice and a phad prik sod with chicken. All meat was quality and cut very well with the freshest crunchy vegetables.
Biggest bonus to this experience was the chef stopping by the table to ensure everything was good, thanking us for coming in and inviting us back. There aren't enough...
Read moreI really wanted to give this place a better review but unfortunately the food I ordered from here was some of the most bland Thai food I've ever had :( I ordered chicken fried rice and pad Thai and my fried rice had literally 0 flavor. It didn't taste bad, it just didn't taste like anything! I dumped hoisin sauce, sesame & soy sauce all over when I got home and then I could eat it. The pad Thai, like others have commented, also lacked flavor. But they give you HUGE portions! I got 4 meals out of the one pad Thai I ordered. And the people who work there are very friendly. I'm going to give it another shot and order different things before I fully make up my mind. My bf got the spicy fried rice and his was good! We also ordered those 3 entrees on a Sunday night around 6 and it was done within 15 minutes which...
Read moreNot sure if this was just an off night, but decided to try a new place (to us) on Mercer Island and it was super disappointing. Shockingly bad. Afraid to eat it bad. Maybe they are in transition but opened up the food when we got home and no rice, larb had soggy shredded cabbage in it and no sticky rice. Phad Thai was a gummy ball and felt like someone cooking it was just hoping no one would notice or didn’t care. Fried tofu might have been off/expired. Had to toss it. Wasn’t busy, so that wasn’t the issue. So hard to be a small business now I know, but also a major bummer to spend $100+ on Thai food and feel sick and throw it out. Felt compelled to warn. So many good Thai places in the area (Seattle or Bellevue)....
