I will keep this short

The sauces that came with tacos were great except for red, too much chipotle.

The tacos were great.

The reason I give one star, they did not have some things listed on menu.

But more importantly their lack of communication because of language barrier and not making clear to their customer that their soup has bones in it.

Very big mistake, the front end clerk did not seem to know anything about the menu or the restaurant

And also struggled to translate form English to Spanish.

The soup for 14$ is a joke, specifically the menudo as it did not take a lot of hands on preparation and was very rustic.

More hominy than tripe.

But the soup tasted as good as Mexican menudo can taste, if that’s possible.

I had chipped a tooth on a second bone that I did not see covered up by the rustic ingredients it cause 600$ to fix.

Please be careful, and make sure to ask the right questions when ordering

And if you feel like they are not giving an appropriate answer Skip the dish or...

WOULD GIVE 10⭐ IF I COULD HAD THE MACHETE W SHREDDED BEEF..AN 2 SOPES w chicken..side of the re fried beans..was given tortillas chips w each order very fresh bye the way!...this is food made w passion an attention to detail..ie.PRESENTATION WAS EVERYTHING!!.. CONDIMENTS ABSOLUTELY A MUST MADE IT ALL COME TOGETHER TO BE MORE THAN PERFECT DINNER FOR US..HOT SAUCES BEAUTIFUL..WE ARE IN LOVE W THIS PLACE AN THE STAFF ARE WONDERFUL AN WARM..WORTH THE TRAVEL TIME.... SHREDDED BEEF IS SOOO GOOD..GONNA TRY EVERYTHING ON THE MENU...

A lovely family owned and operated restaurant that offers truly authentic Mexican cuisine made from Madre’s wonderful recipes. You will find dishes here that you will find nowhere else. After our first visit, Molcajete has become our favorite Mexican restaurant. Take out appears to be very popular. The dining area may rather small but still we enjoy the atmosphere and interaction with the family. I would not be surprised if they expand the dining area in the near future. Our advice to you, the public…..make you next dining...
