China Express — Restaurant in Meridian Charter Township

First visit, very friendly ownership! They have 8 items ready to go, plus egg rolls. The orange chicken had the most orange flavor I've ever tasted in orange chicken, but it was lacking some extra spice/zing. Fried rice is simple with a few vegetables, and isn't as greasy as other restaurants. Also tried the chicken mei fun, which had some depth in flavor (hint of seafood flavor maybe fish sauce?). It needs more chicken though. Egg rolls and spring rolls were typical, still good. Sauces and fortune cookies are self-serve by the register. The chicken in both dishes was good quality. We just moved to the area and will surely be back to try more!

I ordered on the phone lady barely understands English asked for a Lomein she said in 15min it be ready I leave to go get it and she’s trying to get me to get rice, I asked 3 times for a Lomein that I ordered via phone for take out and she finally gets what I’m saying I pay for it wouldn’t you know it she didn’t even take the order had to wait until they made it even though I called….the Lomein was delicious just feel they barely add veggies to them did not like the egg roll had like a cinnamon after taste to it. Would eat there again but they really need to work on their phone orders or atleast have someone that speaks and understands...

The absolute best Chinese food anywhere! On top of that they are the nicest people you could ever want to meet. The quality of their food and service is unsurpassed by anything else I’ve experienced and they even go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. My nine-year-old son requested China express for his birthday dinner and even in the midst of the current pandemic they were able to make his birthday wish come true on very short notice.
