When this place first opened, it was disgusting. And by that, I mean I thought it would close within a year- service was not great, drinks were never delicious (and with the price, I want it to be decent), sometimes orders were totally wrong, and the overall experience was typically poor. Months later, it got a little better and declined again... The turnover of employees is strange, I have never seen a Biggby with as many new faces as this one, which makes me wonder why.....
If you're in a hurry, don't go here, its ALWAYS slow. The drive through is convenient but not fast. IF you use the drive through I recommend adding 20 minutes to your travel, I have sat anywhere from 5 minutes (no big deal) to 25 (big deal). The inside is usually faster, but sometimes that is slow as well. I do not feel like there is enough staff in the morning, maybe that's why its slow?
I'll be honest, I called corporate about this loacation a while ago after a string of bad experiences. I did TRY to call the location first but the phone rang and rang...The icing on the cake was watching a customer nearly throw her order at am employee, I felt for her and thought perhaps more training was needed. That said, I did eventually get in touch with a manager of this location and he assured me he would talk to the employees about customer service, mixing drinks and what it means to be a team member. Drinks got better for a while, they started to taste like what you are actually hoping for from a Biggby, but it is super inconsistent.
Today we went in for 4 ciders and all of them are gross. They aren't the usual "just right amount of sweet." Either someone isn't mixing things correctly, or they forgot to put something in it, but it's not quite right. Also, Wednesday is $3 day, we got 4 (2 24oz and 2 20oz if it matters) as I said. 4x3=12, we had a birthday drink and a bogo.... cashier took both coupons and our bill was $11 and some change.... I don't understand the cost, but I'm happy to pay it if the drink tastes better than liquid...
Read moreWhoever is responsible for hiring at this location is on point, this is not only the best staffed Biggby but quite possibly the best staffed coffee shop in the world in general! Super friendly and exceptionally helpful with ordering and explaining items. Always smiles on the faces of these wonderfully helpful people. I would come here all the time but the overall vibe of the place (staff excluded) leaves a bit to be desired.
Indoor color scheme is jarring, outside looks like it could use a face lift, but the drive through is pretty great and, again, the staff keep it moving quickly while still assuring quality of product delivered to drivers. I love their little tip jar themes, even if I wasn't a tipper and/or didn't love the staff here, I would still put a little sumpin sumpin in there for creativity alone.
Sadly, through no fault of staff, this place gets 1 star for atmosphere and a deduction from an otherwise overall 5 star rating because although I can imagine worse places, this could be so much more inviting and comfortable. Why maintain a dining area that no one wants to sit in? I need to be in town from out of state for an extended period for personal and family reasons and find myself in need of a place to work remotely for the time. Instead of coming here for it's much more convenient location, friendly staff, and great menu, I instead go all the way to Panera almost daily and have joined their drink membership program ONLY because they don't have music blasting out of a music system that is in serious need of an upgrade. Seriously, this is the only reason! Seems like an easy enough fix. Someone please get this awesome staff (and me!) a decent speaker/sound system installed it sounds like listening to old cassettes from the inside of a my high school boyfriend's hand-me-down Chevy from 1980, there's only so much I can take of it :( Will amend rating when I see some much needed upgrade action, don't...
Read more2 stars for convenience since I live up the road, but I am pissed. Straight up. Last week I ordered my usual coffee drink, and I gave the woman my Biggby card, and my debit card. She tells me "It's your free drink so you're all set!" I was unaware, and I didn't want to use my free drink at that particular time. Fine. So she "says" she puts the free drink back on my card, and charges me $5.40 on my debit card. On with my day I go. I go in this morning and order my special free drink. First, it WASN'T what I ordered. Since when does a Fluffy Cloud have mocha in it, and SECOND she claimed my free drink wasn't on my Biggby card, and I only had one point. So I had to pay $6.76 this morning for a coffee. Lady working with me just comes out with "Oh sorry. Yeah, you still owe us $6.76" with her computer telling her my free drink was charged, BUT SO WAS MY DEBIT CARD. NOT happy about my order being wrong (probably for the 5th time at this location) because I hate mocha, but I am LIVID that your workers are messing with my money. I don't care which one I get back, but I am NOT paying for one of these drinks and I want my money back since you decided to charge me on my "free" drink that wasn't what I even ordered. I am PISSED. I gave her my Biggby card and told her to keep it, because it was so worn out from using it for the last 5 years, and I was planning on getting a new one (supposedly) after this initial free drink. I want resolution with this or you lost a very dedicated customer because this isn't the first time this has happened at this location, but it'll certainly...
