Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Meridian

Update! - I left my original review about six months ago. Went back again tonight. Same stuff different day. Couldn’t even get a receipt this time because they said they’re not available. And when I let the manager know that I receive less than satisfactory customer service her only response was she is being as nice as she can be. I do love Jack-in-the-Box food but this restaurant makes me not want to eat Jack-in-the-Box ever again.

This location has continuously had very poor customer service. In the Drive through I have never been greeted with a hi how are you doing only go ahead and order and even that sometimes takes a couple of minutes. Today was the worst though. I went in to order a double bacon breakfast sandwich and a breakfast jack. The first time the employee rang me up it was for a double bacon cheeseburger and a jumbo jack. The only reason that got noticed was the cost was about $5 more than I expected. I then showed them the item I wanted in their app and that I was ordering breakfast not lunch so a breakfast jack not a jumbo jack. We’ll they got the second part right. However when I looked at my receipt they still had the first item wrong. When I pointed this out the employee they asked how much do I need to refund you. Since I don’t work there and I’m not familiar with their pricing I had no idea. I asked her to start to figure it out but then she needed to call someone over for help. In frustration I just said whatever give me what I paid for and left. I now sit here at home with a half a sandwich that I don’t wanna eat because I’m too full. Unfortunately this is the closest place to me when I need a quick snack so I will probably go back but...

I was not going to leave a review however after I got home and I checked the meal I got from the through; it was messing a third of the item and no receipt. I am going to say something….

I pulled up to the drive-thru on the evening of 12/03/24 around 9pm. There was a wait but didn’t bother me since I wasn’t in a hurry. The thing that irked me was the two teen workers there were talking trash about the customer ahead of me. Some of the things they were saying could be considered as a hate crime. They didn’ realize one of their headsets were on. I get it’s night and their teens working on a weekday night. However check your mic. It got cut out after 20-40 seconds. Then I said hello the worker responded something in the lines of hello what are you ordering today. I paused for a second or two then the teen said “Dawg this” and cut out. I am assuming he was going to say derogatory comment to me but cut his mic but that is assumption. I pulled up to the drive-thru window and one of the teens were laying back on the metal table or whatever you call the platform behind the cashier for in house guest. Came up to the window and changed his demeanor. There were few other things but I don’t think you get it was an unpleasant experience for the most part. The staff from few months ago were amazing. This is the first time I ever had this experience at a drive through at any fast food place for 25 years+. I get it if you miss order I am not bothered by that at all. Jack in the Box at 3010 E Goldstone Dr. Unit E, Meridian, ID 83642. Gents Restrooms at this branch were dirty! The sign in there states that they are checked every hour, and if anyone is dissatisfied, they should report it to the counter. I did report it to the counter, but the young girl who attended me when I reported it at around 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 19, did not express any concern, rather argued that "they're checked every hour". She added curtly, that she'll get someone to check it. She expressed zero concern or regret about the situation, so indignantly, I left the place. Also, I don't why places like this buy the worst quality toilet paper! it is so thin I have to tear off a piece about 2 feet and fold it, then fold it again in order to use it..... very annoying, please invest in some quality paper. Also, the only two urinals in there, both with a bowl about a foot off the floor, obviously for little kids! But for adults it is a nuisance because our pee splashes with it being so low down, would be nice to have one low one for little kids, and one higher one for the grown-ups. Lastly, I like to dry my hands on paper, I DO NOT LIKE OR USE the air type hand dryers. Again there is NO OTHER option available for the likes of me. I WILL be avoiding J-i-t-B's in future in case more are...
