MR TACO — Restaurant in Meridian

The place may look sketchy given its location but this place is highly underrated. I have passed this place up for the past several months just because of curb appeal and I regret it. I would imagine this is the most authentic Mexican food around Meridian. The spice, fresh vegetables, presentation was perfect. I will have to go back several times to try their other items. For those wondering, I ordered the California Burrito which has french fries, steak, tomatoes, sour cream, peppers, etc. all wrapped up and it was worth the $7. Probably the best place to eat in Meridian! Super clean and good customer service. I'd come here all the time if I lived nearby. Every single restaurant we have been to so far has been awful in Meridian!! Even chains like Olive Garden and Applebee's. The chicken here is super fresh and the food is amazing! You have to get takeout since there's no tables but who cares! I have starved since I got here and finally I found some real food that won't give me a heart attack!! I started going here about a year ago, and I always bought the carnitas tacos. They were delicious. For months they maintained their quality. However, a few months ago I stopped by and my carnitas tacos were filled with mainly fat and hardly any meat. After this time, I gave it a few more tries and it was the same case. Lots of fat, hardly any meat. The quality of their tacos have gone down drastically in the past year.
