San Antonio taqueria y tienda — Restaurant in Meridian

The outside looks deceiving with its barred windows, but inside is some of the best Mexican food you can have anywhere locally at a decent price.

I got the Barbacoa burrito, two papusas, and 2 tacos. The pick of the lot was the burrito. 🌯 then the papusas then tacos. I don’t know how they made it so good, perhaps the tortillas are homemade, but it was a perfect size and just absolutely slamming.

Then the papusas were soft and fluffy with a garlicky peppery sauce on the side and some kind of spicy slaw to go on top.

The tacos, while being bare bones, still packed a load of flavor once you hit them with the pico and some sauce.

I just left this place and I wish I'd looked at my tacos BEFORE I paid and left. THIS lil bitty ol thing!??? C'mon!! I just got off work and I'm hungry. Now I have to get more food from somewhere else.
