Arby's — Restaurant in Merrill

Don't even deserve 1 star. Today 2-18-23 my family and I went in around 2:00 and whoever the guy manager is with tattoos should NOT have a manager position. We walked in and there was 1 lady waiting for her food and 2 cars MAYBE 3 in the drive thru and very rudely he comes storming to the counter shouting "we only have 3 people today and there's cars in the drive thru so it's definitely gonna be a wait!" My father simply asked how long? And the dude yells and says " 10 minutes or so" and my father again jokingly said "no problem at all do I get a free sandwich for the wait?" Joking. And then the manager flipped and threw whatever was in his hand at the wall and yelled louder and said "NO! NOW YOUR DEFINITELY GOING TO F@"&ing wait!" Now I had my 6 year old son with who started crying because the man scared him, and my 7 year old daughter. Are you kidding me? That's who's managing the store? No wonder you only have 3 people. I'm sorry but that was straight up uncalled for today and we will NEVER be back. Even the people behind us walked out after that shaking...

This location is awful. The owners and store manager are terrible. Store Manager is extremely unprofessional, doesn't keep records of employees availability, ignores employee requests, is frequently late to work, allows own children (who are employed under their parent/store manager) to show up whenever they'd like to and several locals have heard the store manager talking terribly about employees, personal drama, and the owners, while in customers presence and directly to customers. The store owners are aware of the issues and refuse to acknowledge them. Absolutely disgusting example of a restaurant of any kind and I'm disappointed to say it's local. The service is decent, at best, when they're staffed and the store manager is not present. This location is frequently out of items, I would guess due to managements failure to perform their duties in ordering and stocking items. I, unfortunately, cannot recommend this location for food, atmosphere, or employment...

Stopped here on my back from Wausau as I frequently do. The place was clean and the young lady behind the counter was pleasant and friendly. I ordered a double classic roast beef and it was delicious as always. I ordered a small lemonade (10 oz maybe). After taking three sips of the lemonade, it was gone. It was then that I noticed the glass was filled to the top with really large ice cubes. There was very little room for lemonade. I thought, there was probably a mistake and someone put too much ice in the cup. I went to the counter and showed it to the young man that was now behind the counter. He said. “I apologize but company policy is that we can’t cut down on the ice.” So, basically I paid $2.89 for. glass of big ice cubes.
