Extremely Disappointed – Won’t Be Returning
My husband and I always stop at this Merrimack Starbucks when we visit the outlets, but after today (June 1st), we won’t be back. The experience was nothing short of frustrating.
The girl at the register didn’t greet me, didn’t smile…..nothing. Instead, she barked “What can I get you???” like I was inconveniencing her just by walking in. That’s absolutely not how you treat customers.
I ordered my usual drink (which I get regularly at other Starbucks locations): a triple shot of espresso in a venti iced cup with 3 pumps of white chocolate mocha and oat milk. When I received it, the cup was barely half filled….looked like it belonged in a tall, not a venti. There was hardly any oat milk.
When I politely asked for a little more milk, she stared at me like I had just asked for a full-course meal for free. Completely uncalled for. Her attitude was terrible, and the customer service was even worse.
So disappointed in how I was treated. Starbucks can do better, and I know this because other locations do better. Sadly, this one missed the mark entirely....

I have worked in food service my whole life so I always make it a point to be very polite and understanding as I know how stressful things can get. However I have never been rude to a customer just because. When I pulled up to the window to pay the gentleman at the window was very rude, out of habit I handed him my card and he responded very abruptly “I don’t need that!” which jumped me. He handed me the card receiver through the window and as I was surprised I said “Oh! haha”. again wasn’t trying to be rude back but it caught me off guard. he responded to me “oh!” with an “OHHHUH!” in a very mocking tone. As if he were making fun of me. At this point my face just went blank and I was neither rude nor friendly just respectful and said thank you and drove away. Read moreThis is the worst starbucks I have been too. Filthy and the service sucks!! 5 mobile orders all waiting on their orders in store with a drive thru full of cars. Manager is screwing around laughing with the employees. 1 person slowly making the coffee drinks. One at drive thru window standing there waiting for drinks and the third employee is “fluttering” with anxiety not knowing what to do. Asked me what I was waiting on and he said I guess I’m making that sorry. Then he doesn’t fill the cup all the way and when I asked him to correct it he said it’s not their policy to do that. What??? In addition, it used to be Starbucks employees would dress neatly or a uniform and wear hair nets or Starbucks hats. These employees were dressed so sloppy and unprofessional. Oversized jeans, dirty stretched t-shirts and long hair flopping around….no hair nets! Nasty!! May 31st at 4:15 pm...
