Merton Sub Co is probably the best sub sandwich I’ve ever had. I’ll start with the bread is amazing every time. Freshly baked, crunchy on the outside and perfect on the inside. Thick cut meat, perfect amount of toppings. I use to get the Chief but now I’m stuck on the Italian. Comes with a nice bag of chips too. The owner is very personable, takes the time to get to know you when he’s not too busy, very good at remembering names and what your story is. I love a small town business like this, mom and pop kind of place. It’s in the old Merton Fire house too! I’m thinking about having my nephews...

Oh my goodness!! Just moved to the area for obviously a variety of other reasons but I think this sub shop is going to be my favorite reason. Soooo good! Best sub I've ever had, easily. Shared the "hook" with my daughter, plenty of food for both of us. Generous portions and excellent quality of ingredients. I'm kind of picky with deli meat, this was literally the best. WOW. The Chef John is probably the best sub I have ever had! Superbly fresh ingredients, bread is off the chain, hot peppers a must! Owner is super friendly and inviting space in the old fire house!

There is a reason this has 5 stars, believe the hype!

I believe this place just ruined all other sub shops for me. If I could give it 10 stars I would. I will be a regular customer forever!
