Today I went to buy 5 regular subs for workers at a shop that have a dedicated lunch hour. I got there and there was no line as I wanted to have their lunch to them by noon. I ordered a reg sub for myself and wanted to place my order after I finished as it was slow. I have been a Jersey shore points member for quite a while. My sub was sort of ok but the workers lately have been dousing them with way to much oil and a dash of vinegar. A couple of weeks ago I order a sub with mayo and it was oozing out of the sides of the bread after the first bites. These things overpower the sandwiches. I have been coming to this location and lately that issue has developed. Being from Jersey myself I know Subs. Then after I ate I gave my order the young mana t the order spot. I saw him start slicing the bread then I went and sat down to wait. Right after I sat down a woman came in with a child and placed an order. So as I am sitting and waiting I see the woman talking to the girls in the prep area. I get up and see 4 or 5 Giants subs being garnished while my 5 regulars are still where the kid sliced them. So I asked the cashier why is her order being done before mine? she shook her head and had no answer for me. So I go back to the kid who took my order and blew me off that he is not in control of the way the orders are handled? Common sense would leave me to believe that my 5 regulars would've been prepared 1st for the shop workers. I then asked another girl and again no answer, so I asked who the manager was and a kid who just showed up and was putting on his apron couldn't answer as he said he just got there. I was not happy with being left in the dark as 1st come 1st served should prevail. No sorry I messed up or anything as I go there often and will continue to do so but will be more observant while the oil and vinegar is loaded up and not have mayo lathered on like mortar on brick walls. Maybe some customer service training is in order so the paying customer leaves without a sour taste...
Read moreOur first time coming here and won’t be coming back, at least not to this specific store- power and mckellips. The employees were extremely rude and not welcoming. There were flies landing on all the sandwiches that were being made. My sandwich was soggy from all the vinegar and oil put on it- it went from grabbing it from the employee to sitting down at the table- within 30 seconds and the bread was already trashed. My boyfriend ordered the chicken bacon ranch and there was no ranch on it. He had to go back up and ask for a side of ranch to dip his sandwich into. He could of had them re make it but why would we even bother with how rude the employees were when the first were making our food. But before we even got to eating, they sent his sandwich out to a car waiting for a pick up order. He went up and asked about his sandwich because I had already gotten mine and the employee ran out to the car and came back in and tossed it to my boyfriend without saying a single word and walked away. Not an I’m sorry about that, a here you go, absolutely nothing. Horrible customer service. There was one younger blonde girl who was really sweet. But other than that, it looks like a bunch of high schoolers running the store with an elderly man who was the rudest...
Read moreMade an online order at this location and my one sandwich was completely made wrong. asked for bacon which is a $2 extra charge and i didn’t get that. Asked for pickles and didn’t get any. asked for jalopenos and got banana peppers instead. The sandwich had an extra sour taste when I tried it as if something was expired or old. I called the store to discuss getting a refund and spoke to their team lead Tyler. Tyler told me that I can either come in the store again to have my sandwich remade or I can wait for the manager to come in the next day for a refund. I chose to receive the refund and civilly and calmly let Tyler know that on both Yelp and Google reviews they have countless 1 star reviews of sandwiches being made completely wrong. Then Tyler’s attitude and demeanor changed to being short and disrespectful after my comment. As soon as his attitude changed I asked him to remind me what his name was and he refused to tell me until I repeatedly asked again. Then I asked for his managers name and wouldn’t tell me the managers name either until i had to repeatedly ask again. Found out the managers name is James so I will be seeing James tomorrow for a refund and to have a chat about his...
