Panadería y Carnicería La Estrella — Restaurant in Mesa

Hot food is delicious and the ladies making as well as serving the hot yummy food are very friendly, fast and hard working. However the bakery area is disorderly, lucky if you get anything but most disappointing is the rude, disrespectful, ignoring you service received from the bakery workers. If you don't look MEXICAN ENOUGH the bakery will ignore you while giving you dirty looks. I'm multi race and I grew up with La Estrella as part of my grandmothers recipes and the owner was always very nice and welcoming. Its a shame for the bad customer bakery service, glad I no longer eat sweets. 5 stars for deli/hot food and half a star for bakery workers. At least they showed up...

Sus panes estan bueno, but Yesterday I bought a tres leche cake for my mom's birthday today and when we cut it open the tres leches are stretchy and tastes unpleasant. Edit:Wow so yesterday i commented about how we found our tres leches, all stretchy and tasted unpleasant. So today we went to their place to get our money back but they refused to so they said we're getting another one for you. At they they were like "Oh no our cakes our great you're wrong " so we wanted them to try it for themselves but of course refused to aswell. Definitely worth the wait. They have a variety of choices for you. Freshly made. It's like you can tell they make it all with love. Lol. The parking, well there practically is none . So I would highly suggest parking at the future of a restaurant place next door parking lot. Way easier. There may be a line when walking up on the store but, you will find it moves pretty quickly. The ladies helping put are super sweet. As much as the line moves you would think that you would be rushed but, that wasn't the case at all. The cash register ladies were quick and friendly as well.
