Bums stay here during the day. I've seen them hanging out with their friends on the grass and more sitting on the benches. Last time I was there, 7 bums with all their belongings around them. Last time I saw a large group of teens here, around 10 teenagers together sitting at a large table. They were not roudy, just hanging out and talking. The playground is awesome, I babysit and I bring my 5 year old here to play. There are multiple jungle gyms and two sets of swings. Lots of different sized slides and monkey bars. Haven't had a bad experience here! The adults and teens give each other their space, everyone is respectful, the kids in the playground have their separate place away from them. The water fountain here is AWESOME! It has great water pressure, the water spout aims the water up high so its easy to drink from and it (hopefully) is cleaner because people don't have to put their mouths close to the water spout. With that said, during the day with all those people around there's more people drinking from the fountain. At night there's hardly anyone there, there's sometimes a smaller group of teens playing basketball at the basketball courts but that's all. At night I've had the entire playground to myself and my kid. Everyone in the park is friendly. I haven't seen anything sketchy here while I've been a visitor. I give this place 4/5 because I am extra vigilant during the day time with all those other visitors...

There is no off street parking, but there is plenty of room to park on the streets around the park itself. The park is surrounded by a short fence, and you can walk the sidewalk that encircles this fence if you were looking for exercise. Inside the actual park, there is not much paths to work on. It was pretty much just a straight-shot path to the playground and the basketball court. There are also two picnic ramada areas and some picnic tables under the trees- yay for shade. The playground is actually not bad- lots of fun equipment although there were some shady characters hanging out...

Stapley Park is an old traditional family park. A decent sand pit with nice play equipment scattered about. 2 covered picnic areas with a small field and basketball courts. And lots of pigeons to chase. There is a water fountain but there is...
