Tortas Sinai Mexican Grill ( La presa) — Restaurant in Mesa

I’m a Mexican food fanatic! Use to work nearby… came here often! When I did, I was the only gringo. Old building…. nothing fancy… kind of a dive… just my kind of place! Family owned with a menu that caters to a Mexican not a gringo. Again, just my kind of place! I had 3 Rolled Tacos w/ fixings plus 4-Mini Tacos… 2-Pastor and 2-Cabeza. The Rolled Tacos were no good. Tortillas were over cooked & dry. I shouldn’t have ordered them… my bad. However, the Mini-Tacos were outstanding! Sounds like I’m unhappy? Not true… I’ll be back and just won’t get the Rolled Tacos.

Work remotely but had a meeting in the office in Gilbert. Knew where I was going to eat breakfast as soon as the meeting was over! Huevos Rancheros w/ Beans, Rice, & Corn Tortillas and 3-Bistec Tacos Platter. Absolutely delicious! Bistec was pieces of bistec w/ grilled onions… never had it like this...

Se tardaron más de 30 minutos para tomar mi orden por el drive thru, y otros 15 minutos para darme mi orden. Lastima que ya había pagado si no me hubiera ido.

They had no cars in front of me and still they took 30+ minutes to take my order through the drive thru, then they proceeded to take an additional 15 minutes to provide me with my order. Unfortunately I had already paid or i would have left.

The tacos were not worth the wait, they gave me the wrong meat, I had asked for two tacos in a separate box and they put all 5 of my tacos in the same box instead of different ones. They also gave me 2 lime halves which was barely enough for my order. The Horchata was also...

There is an important difference between Mexican Restaurants and Taquerias like this one. Here you will find things like Tortas which, for some reason, you can't find at most mexican restaurants. They are basically giant, delicious Mexican sandwiches. This place also has the super authentic vibe where all the walls are brightly painted, the menu is mostly in spanish and includes options you won't find in most americanized restaurants. No hay muchas lugares donde se puede encontrar tortas tan buenas y auténticas como los de allí. Yo nunca encuentro en la mayoridad de "restaurantes mexicanas". Comida fabulosa. La...
