Ordered catering for a holiday get together, and when ordered has been specifically asked about their vegetarian option of a baked potato was told yes that they had it. Today he goes to pick up his order and notices the potatoes. Touching meat asked if that was for our order and was told yeah it was that they don’t do anything vegetarian essentially. so he was upset because he was told that they did the ladies and the staff there got rude and loud forgot to give one whole tray of meat and should’ve already had it prepared for a 12 o’clock pick up but did not do not recommend using their catering service or going at all. I went back in to go get the last tray of meat that was not in our boxes and I was instantly told that we weren’t welcome back because he was rude to them and upset and I said that’s fine. I asked her to please calm down and just to give me what we had already paid for the last day and that I didn’t care if we couldn’t come back. Honestly, I don’t know what’s wrong with people nowadays, but one if you asked about specific options, don’t lie and say they have them...

We went to Tom’s for dinner a few nights ago and it was my first time there. Our waitress was great - very attentive, made some great recommendations and ensured that everything was well throughout our meal.

We were treated to some fresh chips almost immediately and holy cow! Those homemade chips were delicious! We also ordered the fried pickles - there were four of us at the table and we were unsure which size to order. We went with six and it was perfect - they’re hefty slices of pickles, not chips or spears. They were perfectly cooked and tasty! I had the brisket, coleslaw, fries and cornbread for dinner. Everything was absolutely delicious! There was a variety of dinners ordered at the table - ribs, sausage, burnt ends and the fish fry and everyone was full and happy after our meal!

I was really impressed with the prices as well - the portion sizes were large and definitely worth the cost! All of us took home leftovers - which says a lot when half the table usually finishes their plates and then some!

We will definitely...

We visited Sunday evening around 7pm and the place was empty, one other couple was leaving. The staff were friendly but slow, ordering takeout when nobody else is at the restaurant shouldn't take 15 minutes for two people. The prices are pretty high, I got a 3 meat sampler including brisket (upcharge) and my son got a pulled pork sandwich with a drink. Our total was 45 dollars before gratuity that is requested on the POS at the take-out counter - minimum choice 17%. When we got home and sat down to eat I found my three meats and two sides to be all extremely bland. The pulled pork was typical as any other bbq joint but didn't taste smoky. The brisket was under cooked and fatty. The chicken was a dry, individual, minimally smoked breast that was sliced 4 times because it would have never pulled apart. The bbq beans were beans, the potatoes were mashed... but I wasn't expecting the bare minimum. I probably should have read the other recent reviews and saved myself from...

I was really excited to try this place and it ended up being just okay. I guess if I had just one question for the owner of Tom's it would be "Where's the bark on my brisket?". I was seriously let down by the state of my brisket. It was super tender, but there was no bark! It looked like they trimmed the BEST part of brisket off. Why? Or is the brisket not smoked? Is it boiled? Please don't tell me you boil your brisket. The pulled pork was good along with the rest of the sides. I also really enjoyed the spicy BBQ sauce. But not having a nice, delicious bark on your smoked brisket is an unforgivable offense in the BBQ world. Did I just get a bad batch? I paid extra $$ to get the brisket, and it was such a let down. With so many other BBQ places in the Valley that understand the value bark adds to brisket, I don't think we will be back to Tom's. Disappointing!

Just moved into the area and decided to give Tom's a try. Sorry I did. Called in an order for take out. 2 brisket sandwiches as lean as possible and large fries. The only reason for 2 stars is the fries were average. Brisket was riddled with fat. Gross. Couldn't eat it. AND when I called in I was told a regular sandwich was $7.99 and a jumbo was $9.50. I ordered 2 REGULAR sandwiches. When my husband went to pick them up, he was charged $9.50 per sandwich. Never again. Will stick with Bobby Qs. Bobby Qs....now that's real BBQ!

The smell of Smokey BBQ hits you as you open the door. Smaller inside than I though, but just as much outdoor seating. Large Windows and open plan, wood all around, overall a fantastic place to sit, relax and enjoy the bbq. Cute bar with tv if youd prefer that seating arrangement. I had the brisket sandwich. My intention was to eat it later...yeah right. One bite and it was game on. Lean but very juicy. I had only a little bbq (which was good) but I loved the Smokey flavor. Very much looking forward to returning.
