I had very high hopes for Morning Glory, unfortunately it was greatly disappointing. The service was absolutely terrible and the staff seemed untrained and unfocused. Although it wasn't very busy on the Sunday afternoon that my girlfriend and I went; there still remained dirty dishes on every single empty table. In fact, when we entered the restaurant we had to wait for a table to be cleaned even though the staff should have had plenty of time to clean, at the minimum, the table that had only two cups and some crumpled napkins (which still was uncleaned by the time we left). It took more than ten minutes just to get water and another ten just to get our order taken. The food by the time it came out was very bland and partially cold. The biscuits and gravy, which my girlfriend got, were soggy and the hash browns were cold. I got the breakfast burger and although it was decent, the fries were also cold and disappointing. It was our first time going and we definitely won't be back. There is better breakfast to be had for a much lower price down the road at either waffle house or village inn. My suggestion for the business would be to at least stay on top of tables and make the place look presentable rather than having half eaten food and dirtied napkins sit on tables while it obviously isn't busy. With the glowing reviews prior to mine it seems as though they were doing something right beforehand, but the experience we had was less than acceptable.
A massive letdown to say...
Read moreTLDR: Average wait time after 5 visits is a little over and hour. Food is medium to basic grade breakfast food.
We have gone here quite a few times and there seems to be an issue with either management or maybe training. The waitresses/runners do alright but often are very spotty with the service. Of the 5 times, we have only been asked once for a refill of drinks that were empty, otherwise they were left empty. Rarely any checkins, etc.
The wait to order drinks as well as placing the order for food hs been hit or miss in regards to quickness but always a long wait from the time of ordering food and getting the food. Hour and a few minutes was our fastest on a not so busy day. Maybe half the building was seated. Today it was busy and we waited an hour and 45 minutes to get our food which, for one person was correct and the other was a different order. Was also cold. During that time, we were checked in with one time which was the one time we have been asked if we would like a refill.
The place is nice and looks like it would have a nice atmosphere but I would say management or near, would need to step it up. We wont be going here anymore due to the multiple times of issues. Arrived for breakfast at 10:30 and leave at 12:15 for two people is not...
Read moreJust attempted to have breakfast at Morning Glory. First off, not enough wait staff for the amount of customers. I sat for 15 min before ordering my food. The only way I got their attention was raising my hand. I and my fiancé both ordered coffee and it took forever for them to refill our glasses. Then my breakfast came, I got the plain and simple. They brought out a plate with just a small pile of burnt scrambled eggs and 4 pieces of bacon. Then the lady who delivered the food asked what kind of toast I wanted and brought a plate of barely toasted toast and friuit. The eggs were disgusting it had pieces of the burnt eggs and the edges of eggs that stuck to the pan . What was brought out was just plain scrambled eggs no cheese no seasoning nothing. They even remade them and they were not any better. I got up and left didn’t even eat. I left the food right there on the table in plain sight. Disappointed with the food and service. My fiancé went to the pay for the bill while I went out to the car. They never took off the meal, comped anything. He paid in full for this grand opening breakfast disappointment. I would never recommend this restaurant to any of my friends or family! It was a horrible experience and we are both very...
