Crumbl — Restaurant in Mesquite

Upon entry into the store I attempted to use the ordering kiosks, but they were off. As a result I approached the counter where a young man with stringy red hair, pumpkin dangle earrings and a horrible and unprofessional attitude looked at me stoically, without a greeting, and asked for my order. I pointed to a cookie on the display tray at the register and asked what flavor it was; he replied. I pointed to another; he replied. I pointed to the last one that I was interested in and he paused and breathed w exhaustion as he looked at me with disdain and went back to the first cookie I inquired about stated “The Flavors of the month are…” After he rattled through the first three I stopped him. I asked what was the smallest number I could get and he stated one with an attitude. I said forgive me. I don’t order here often, if I get a box what is the smallest number of cookies in a box I can get. Again with an attitude, he snapped “four and eight”. As a healthcare provider that was buying cookies for my children who I was not going to be able to take trick-or-treating, I was very surprised and appalled by what I was greeted with in this establishment. Today I purchased a half dozen cookies, 3 red velvet and 3 chocolate chip. Once I made it home, I bit into one and it was hard and unedible. I left a review on the website and I also called into the store. I spoke with a young lady, and she was very rude and wanted me to bring the actual cookies back into the store to prove the cookies were hard and stale. At first, she was unwilling to give me a refund for the cookies. Then I asked her, so now you want me to waste my time and my gas money returning to the store to return day old cookies. She finally said OK fine I’ll return your money. Before I could say anything, get her name or even thank you she hung the phone up. This is a shining example of poor customer service and I will never return to the store again. I’ve purchased cookies at the Forney and Rockwall, Texas locations and I’ve never had this problem. Great customer service and the cookies were excellent. Went to this store for a curbside order, parked directly in a parking spot in front of the store. Checked in on the app and waited 15 minutes before calling them to let them know I was out there, was told that they were going to send someone out. Waited another 10 minutes before calling again and was told the same thing. After waiting another 15 minutes I called a third time and the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and was telling me they don’t do curbside when I had already watched an employee come out and take two orders out around same time and she proceeded to tell me to come inside to get my order. She also had said they don’t do curbside that late when It was only 6 pm and a couple days ago I was able to do curbside at 9 pm with no issues.
