UPDATE BECAUSE IT NEEDS TO BE SAID: March 16 2022. This Taco Bueno has to be one of the last one on the eastern side of the DFW that isnt dry, tastes great and is always hot and tastes freshly made. I cant stress enough how much I eat taco bueno, specifically here, because of how good it is. No other Taco Bueno is as packed as this one from like 5-7. There is a line to wait but the food they make is why. The hispanics working there make the food way better than other Taco Buenos with non-hispanic managers. It has nothing to do with being critical bit just a real observance from Rowlett, South Garland, North Garland, Mesquite, Rockwall, Balch Springs and Southeast Plano. For eating over 600 bucks a year if not more, i can definitely say that with confidence. I want to say Southeast Plano is pretty close to this location.
I love Taco Bueno and i criticize each and every one hard. it has been my 2nd favorite fast food chain ever here is my review.
This location is the best in food compared to other ones in the area (mesquite, rockwall, rowlett) the one off jupiter in plano is also excellent! the staff here are all very nice. the guy manager, Juan, is really cool and his food is always hot and or greasy like the old taco buenos used to be. i think he might have his food be the last one in the area that is this way. ive complained to corporate multiple times about the inconsistent food tastes from each restaurant but this location is one of the best tasting for the chain. nobody has been as good and consistent about it. the location is always full of people. ALWAYS! like wow, other locations are dead around the clock but this one around peak hours is so busy and full! i want everyone to know that i spend a lot of money and time here lol and this location is well worth it.
in conclusion, if you like taco bueno, this is the best in the nearby area. if you havent tried it, i suggest you try the muchaco. 2 of them is more than enough. always beefy and good. i remember when they used to be cheap when i was like 8....
Read moreMy family and I have always enjoyed Taco Bueno. The food tastes good. However, our past 2 experiences at the particular restaurant on Town East have not been pleasing at all. The first time we came through the drive thru. Literally waited 15 minutes to get to window and another 10 at window. The person at window just stood there by counter. Didn't even look over at us. Apparently he was waiting on someone else to bring him our food. I could see another person at register arguing with client then giving money back. No explanation was given to why we had to wait so long, not even an apology. Last night, we decided to try again. We walked in and there was two other families sitting down. I walked to register and did not get a hello, welcome, or not even can I take your order. The girl at register just stood there. So I just started speaking my order to which she just leaned her head on the register. I waited for her to look up before continuing. The team that was here before was way better at customer service than whoever this group is. These are all new faces, but they really need to learn alot about customer service!!! Maybe I should just be happy that they got my order right...Oh, and by the way, the bathrooms were horrible. Toilet paper on floor and very dirty. I understand that places get busy but I counted at least 6 employees and only 2 customers in store. Someone could have gone to clean...
Read moreI loved that they had brought back the original queso from the 60’s and 70’s. It was great. I don’t eat fast food very often but Beuno seemed to be ok when I did. But now this location has even messed that up. They seem to think that adding water and whatever garbage to the queso is ok. But it’s not. It was great for the first time or two, but I can taste now that you have even tarnished the simplest of your items on the menu.
When Bueno did bring back the O.G. queso I was excited. It was like a blast from the past. Now this taco bueno has ruined the simplest of things. And they cannot even get the things like a bean and cheese burrito right for my 4 year old. Who spit it out! Also the muchacho now is just a bunch of mush smashed together and taste like blamed nothingness. And the salsa isn’t even a bit spicy. Its like eating tomato paste. The chips are stale and the service is rude.
Whomever is running this establishment should be ashamed of themselves and their employees. This has to be the worst taco bueno I have ever been to. Shame on you!
Ha fast food! More like fast GARBAGE! Back to...
