Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Mesquite

The food is good. The service was NOT good today. The two drive thru lines were open. I pulled in where the other line was the same amount of cars as the one I pulled in. There was two people taking orders in the line I was in and one in the other. I thought the young lady that was taking orders in the other line was getting her line moving. When I pull up the young man went over to the other line to take orders of cars that came in after me. I was thinking ok he will get my order after that car even though it came in after me. So he looked at me and then continue to take orders in the other line with the cars that come in after me. I got the attention I have two other workers there were just standing on the side she may have been training him explaining to him how to do something. I don't know they were just chit-chatting. When I told her that guys takin orders of people that came in at way after I did she said it's the way that would they do it.so I been sitting in line and your telling me that someone who comes in after me gets their order first???? That makes no sense! She said I'll take your order. Ok. They should not have two lines if they can't keep up with who's next in line. I would have thought with 4 people standing out there they could make sure everybody's order gets taking in the order they pulled in. They took five cars ahead of me that pulled in after me!!! I wished I had taken pictures but the food didn't last long enough... LoL so at this location I guess I got there before the crowd showed up but the lines were extremely short. I had placed my order through the app. Now mind you that I haven't been to a Chick-fil-A in a long time (pre covid time) but for some reason I wanted to give it a try. Everyone at this location was very friendly and extremely helpful and made my visit hassle free and they have their stuff down like a well oiled machine. As far as the food. I will start out by saying that the chicken nuggets were very salty for my taste and I don't remember them being that way in the past. I ordered a bottle of their honey mustard sauce and I'm using it on everything... LoL. The frozen coffee was delicious and the Mac and cheese was the star of my meal. It was creamy yet that extra gooey stringy cheese mixed in was just like my mom used to make and I'm glad that I ordered two and my sister didn't want hers. I would buy a big pan of the Mac and cheese and dare anyone to try to touch it. They need to let us be able to order different sizes of it.
