Came in for breakfast this Sunday 12/17/23 our waiter Kevin took our order on his mobile tablet and walked away from our table @ 9:48am assuming the order went right to the kitchen by 10:23 we asked manager Raquel about our order she said oh I’ll check on that and then we just saw her walking back and forth did not even talk to the kitchen or Kevin our waiter about our food. 6min later we asked her again she said oh it’ll be right out about 8min after that another manager Laquasha came to our table talking about the kitchen is too backed up with to-go orders and other tables orders but ours will be out soon enough that’s why she sent out my kids food so they can go ahead and eat. Like she was doing me a favor! Your priority should have been us folks dining in not their To-Go orders! This was after us already sitting there for 40min. All irritated but trying to keep her cool she tells me she can refund mine and my husbands food. Not at all trying to offer some kind of apologetic gesture maybe comp the coffee no, nothing. This is a simple case of extremely terrible management Laquasha and Raquel y’all need to do better because the wait staff was great trying their best with the little support they have from their managers. There is no communication between the front house and the back house staff and managers are not helping with the backed up kitchen situation my husband and I saw 9 plates ready to be taken out just sitting there in the window for 20plus minutes while we were there watching the staff just skate around them! It was a complete disaster. After paying for our coffee’s, our kids drinks and kids meals we left I give this experience a 1star! Do better...
Read moreAs someone who has a background in food service and dealing with the public, it’s sad running into a dining establishment with potential, who squanders it on multiple levels. I came in on Christmas Eve and was pleasantly surprised I would finally get in to dine here. I was kept waiting up front ten minutes before a server (no one is dressed in any kind of attire that would indicate server) asked me if I was picking up a take out order. Is the service that bad that nobody eats here? I let him know no, and that I had been kept up there with no one showing any concern. I was seated by the same young man who never told me his name, never made any dining suggestions, or did anything to make me feel welcomed beyond asking for my beverage order. I selected the pot roast (55 +) which was quite good although the fries were salty although not as over salted as with Denny’s. I ordered the chocolate cake. It was delicious but the presentation was lacking to say the least. The dessert experience gave me the impression it was served nearly frozen. It was clearly served without any kind of plan. The cake should have given time to thaw with enough time so it doesn’t have a frozen quality. The chocolate cake should be served with a little hot fudge (or offered) and with more whipped cream than the dab provided. They have no procedure to present the check and pay if you don’t have the app as the means to pay. I was almost in the kitchen when given the chance to pay. Read moreMy husband and I decided to go for a late dinner last night after a long day. We arrived between 8:20 and 8:30 pm. Place had 2 full tables but the rest was empty except for one couple. Our server was nice and responsive. She took our very simple order for two 55+ BLT Sandwiches. Easiest order on the menu. After sitting at the table for 40 minutes sans food, I stopped server to ask if our food was coming any time soon. Her response was that they had several large orders before us and we were next. At this point I asked to speak to the manager. I am then told she is busy but will come in a minute. The manager does arrive a minute or so later pretty sweaty (I honestly had the feeling she was doing the cooking). I explain to her my issue that we have been waiting for atleast 40 minutes for 2 BLTs. She proceeds to explain to me that they work tickets in order and because they had 2 large orders before mine that is why my order was delayed. Please note one of the larger tables already had their food when we came in and had already left at this point. The manager went on to explain to me how the orders were complex and big and that they did not have room on the grill to work my order. Again we order BLTs, for those who do not know what a BLT is, they are toast (not grilled), Lettuce, Tomato, (neither of these are grilled) and at best 2 to 3 slices of bacon (yes this is grilled).
