The Curry Leaf — Restaurant in Mesquite

This is the first restaurant that I have seen in my life that does not open at 10 am like normal restaurants open all around the world. I went here multiple times and they are closed as always. So therefore I checked online to see the opening time it said 4 pm so I go here at 4:10 pm and guess what, they are closed as always. Seriously this is really ridiculous!! I Don't Have Time to waste!! I went to eat but yet had to go somewhere else instead. I'm never going here again!! The main reason I went here in the first place because I was in the mood for Indian Food, but had to go and get fast food since they were closed. I must say they are very unprofessional and have absolutely no idea of how a restaurant is run. There are so many other Indian restaurants that have been open for a while now and they are open everyday at 10 am sharp never late in opening the restaurant because they know how a restaurant is supposed to be run. Plus Curry Leaf needs to put the timings on the door visible so customers can see and not on a piece of paper that they printed and taped to the window next to the door window. Honestly there are multiple issues with this restaurant not just one. Timings not visible on the door as should be. Always Closed Open at 4 pm instead of 10 am Closed for 3 full days for some emergency, which also I have not seen in my life. There is not 1 restaurant that has ever been closed for any type of emergency because it's a business not a game to just close for any reason.

All I have to say is Thanks for Wasting My Time! I Will Definitely Not Be...

We enjoyed the food, however, their business practice was very poor. We decided to try this place out because we bought a deal on Restaurant.com where we could get $15 off when we spend $45. We showed the server the voucher when she approached our table, and she stated that we can use it at the end of the meal. After confirming with the server, we attempted to order $45 worth of food. After our meal, we went to the server to pay and showed her the voucher. She called a man over, who I am guessing was the owner. After we explained to him that we had a voucher for $15 off $45, he stated that they had no such deal and we had to spend $75. I explained to him that the deal we bought was spend $45 and get $15 off and that the server confirmed we would be able to use it at the end of the meal. I also showed him the deals page on Restaurant.com on my phone. The man/owner still denied that the deal was real or accurate and told us that he does not accept Restaurant.com vouchers anymore. He stated that he would not honor the voucher and walked away. We enjoyed the food but will not be giving them anymore business due to poor business practices. I am grateful for this spot close to Sunnyvale in Mesquite. This spit has been a favorite mine for years. I love the minute you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile by the owner of the place. He treated us so kindly and promptly. This is his business and he cooks everything fresh in the morning. I was able to try a new drink from Zyka brand called basil seed mango drink that day. It was recommended by the chef himself. 👨‍🍳 This man cooks so good, my mouth waters everytime I go. I was able to place my order and receive it quickly under 10 minutes, I ordered a whole plate of Chicken Tikka Massala. They serve it in a paper plate with plastic cutlery. The mango Lassi is so incredible here, it tastes better than a mango smoothie 😋.

As for the variety of options, I loved that he has a lot of different meals, he even introduced me to shrimp Tikka Masala, never heard of it, but excited to try next time. My little girl and I were treated with such warmth and like family, thank you Curry Leaf. The owner came and checked on us several times to see if we were okay.

The setup is simple yet clean and organized.

This is the best in Mesquite hands down, no other place like this...
