We stopped there this past week on a road trip. The individual that rang us up clearly did not want us to eat there. They mentioned multiple times that we should go somewhere else while I was trying to order food. We have a large family and were traveling with two dogs. Our options for dine in food were limited. This was the only place close to us that allowed pets. It was too hot to leave our dogs in our vehicle. The person that rang us up kept mentioning that they were not the owners and could not answer my questions/could not help us order. They have an option for a grilled cheese and soup, and when I asked if they could substitute another side instead of soup, they were unhelpful. They said they could only ring up items individually because they weren’t the owner. The prices on the menu were not listed which was frustrating. We spent over $100 for our family. The food was good, but it was not worth the hefty price tag. The meals do not come with drinks despite being almost $14. Water is not free either, even if you order food. It is a very cute shop, but it is not family friendly. It felt like my kids were an annoyance to the staff when we brought them in. I forgot to click the button for a receipt when I checked out, so when my husband went back to the register to ask for a receipt, the person that checked me out became more annoyed and said I should have asked for that earlier.
They were far kinder and more helpful to the people that came after us that did not have kids. So if you don’t have kids, you’ll probably be more welcome. If you do have kids, I do not recommend. The food is not exceptional for the...
Read moreSissy's always works quickly, keeps almond milk option available, and has an almond joy latte that's really tasty- they happened to be out of the almond flavor once and I decided to try it with hazelnut instead- same recipe just swap almond for hazelnut and voila definitely delicious and highly recommended- hot or cold it's yummy! The light lunch options, while I haven't tried them personally- are almost always being talked about by other customers. The banana pudding was good per the person I gifted it to and I personally enjoyed the no bake chocolate oatmeal cookie. Another popular choice I hear discussed constantly is their fruit pizza cookie. If only it were gluten free- based on the things I hear- I would definitely try it. The service is always good and no matter who is working they are friendly and aim to please 🙏 Great products and service!!! Don't forget your...
Read moreI hate to give this type of review to a place I would vouch for. I was a everyday customer since they opened. And absolutely loved their coffee and food. But I really feel ever since they opened a second location the quality has declined tremendously. Maybe it's a new bean they use, or just the staff. Another thing is the prices. As a business owner I fully understand but that shouldnt effect the consistency and quality of your coffee. I got a cold brew and a bacon egg and cheese panini, no side fruit. And it was a few cents off 18 dollars, and it would've been nice if the prices were posted. But 8-9 for a drink and for a sandwich is a bit far fetched, especially for a location like metropolis. And before writing this review I tried both locations and metros twice, the cold brew was overly sweet and the latte I got was very watery and weak I...
