From start to finish, my overall experience was disappointing. Whoever is running this business really needs to improve communication and response times across their platforms. If managing multiple platforms is overwhelming, it would be better to stick to just one and do it well.
I reached out to order a cake for my husband’s birthday, but the response time from the very beginning was lacking. The week of pickup, I messaged twice to confirm and never received a reply. I ended up calling, and while I was leaving a voicemail, it sounded like my call was disconnected because when I called right back, someone picked up immediately without it even ringing. I was then told I could pick up my cake on the desired date at 1 p.m.
Fast forward to pickup day: at 12:30 (just 30 minutes before closing), I got a message saying my cake was ready and that they were closing at 12:30. My concern is, what if I had been driving from farther away and had no time to adjust? When I mentioned that I was told pickup was at 1, they just responded, “Oh that’s fine.” So which was it?
The cake itself was pretty good for a tres leches but because of the lack of professionalism and extremely poor communication my overall experience fell short. I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately I can only...
Read moreVery quiet, hidden bakery I would not have seen if I hadn't looked up bakeries in the area. There is parking on the side of the bakery. By the register, you can see your bakery options. They have an entire menu however you can take a look at their menu for their other options. There is plenty of seating from two to four seaters. I got the Tres Leches cake I saw in their display sweets section. I've never had a good one prior so I was interested to see how it was. I was ecstatic to find out I really enjoyed it. The body was a normal yellow cake absorbed in this delicious what tasted like sweet condensed milk sauce. The icing wasn't too sweet; tasted similar to whipped icing not the overly-sweet kind you can buy in a bottle. It complimented well to the sweet body of the cake. It was all topped with a maraschino cherry. The coffee was pretty standard. Nothing special about it. I'll def be back especially to try their more...
Read moreFirst of all Angie's prices are outrageous. $2.50 for an empanada. I called in an order for a steak/rice/beans during lunch time. I asked how much it would be and was told they would tell me when I arrived. (Which prompted me to know that it was going to be well over $15.00 dollars.) When I arrived, the attendant was preparing the food when I noticed a mountain of rice and 5 little pieces of steak cut up. Looked like 1 small steak cut into little cubes. I saw the attendant go back to the kitchen so I figured he was going to put the rest of the steak that was missing in the box. Only to see him return with nothing. He pulled out a tiny cup of beans and offered me plantains. When he rang me up it was almost $16.00 for a mountain of rice, a tiny cup of beans, 5 tiny pieces of steak that would amount to a small piece of steak and a few plantains....
