It is a nice library in a nice neighborhood.
However, I don't know her name, the chubby lady that never smiles only when she is talking to her co workers, with short blonde hair, should not be dealing with the public.
She is sarcastic and talks down to people. Never helps you, sends you off to someone else. All she does at night is shut down the computers and pushes in the chairs.
Don't ever pick off up your 20 cent each black and white copies off the printer,, she will belittle you for that. Yet the two college guys and the very friendly young lady, doesn't care if you do. Go figure?
She has been very disrespectful and saracastic to the public. Honestly, I don't know how someone can give this woman a job and she is apparently not happy and HATES dealing with the public.
Yet other times, kids can talk loud as well as adults, banging on the desks with headphones on OR bounce a ball in the Library, yet no one tells anyone to whisper or to stop bouncing the ball in the library. Or how about making a personal phone call from your cell phone in the Library?
This place is a zoo and she is not nice at all.
She is lucky I didn't go off on her the few times she wasn't nice to me or my husband. I would have her crying.
I may still make a formal complaint. No one deserves to be talked down to, when I have always treated her with respect.
If I knew her name, I would...
Read moreIt's a great library with a friendly staff. It's not big, but there's a little bit of everything: books, DVDs, and magazines. There are 3 main sections: children's area upstairs, young adults, and adults on the first floor. The restrooms are behind the service desk. There's an elevator and a large multipurpose room where they organize receptions, art displays, meetings, movies, shows, concerts, and much more. It is a vibrant and active library with several opportunities for everyone to engage in different types of activities (educational, artistic, financial, mental health) from babies to adults. It is a wonderful place where to discover your community...
Read moreRidiculous library. My largest gripe is the parking. Always an issue. For such "brainy" town, amazing they do not address this. The brainy town is not real brainy, just a bunch of annoying yuppies. With so many brains, maybe they should focus on education versus doing things to raise our taxes all the time. The other gripe is the time in transit to get selections from other libraries. My old library in Somerset County was the next day if selected before noon. Here it is a week plus to get a book from a library 3 miles away in another town. Really, what happened to having a daily run between all libraries. Again,...
