L&L Pizza & Pasta New York Style — Restaurant in Metuchen

So tonight I visited this pizza place from out of town with my 12 year old son and my girlfriend. After constant observation, I witnessed what I describe as the main employee who handles all the food there wearing the mask the wrong way. I continued to watch him and then told him and the owner, who was also there, that he has to cover his nose also when wearing the mask. The owner didn’t say anything. But the employee answers with a serious attitude and says it falls off when he talks. That was a lie. But anyway, you would think that he would put the mask on properly after that. He didn’t. I told him that it’s the law and it’s for the safety of everybody around. He obviously didn’t care. Smirked the whole time I was there and kept the mask just covering his mouth.i proceeded to even let the owner know again and all he said was yeah but made no attempt to correct the situation. I even took pictures which I will definitely send to the mayor of this town to show them that nothing is done in this new establishment to keep people safe. I was there for at least 15 mins. Nothing! So this means that they don’t give a damn about food handling there. I will never go back. Nor will my girlfriend. And the mayor of the town should definitely visit that place and teach them the right way!!! Maybe even summonses them so they learn that other people’s...

I cannot recommend L & L Pizza & Pasta New York Style enough to everyone. My wife & I ate the pizza fresh from the oven and what a fantastic experience it was.

First off no matter what slice (I got the speciality slice penne vodka) you order the crust is just superior in every way. Forget what you know about thin crust come here and taste it for yourself. You’ll quickly realize the quality difference in other places that boast about their thin crust and think to yourself, what are they bragging about, L & L does it better! Secondly the dough and sauce of the pizza is next level. The passion and love that goes into this sauce is tastable and the dough is still so soft even with such a thin crust. It’s just downright incredible Lastly, I also shared a chicken roll with my wife and if you’ve eaten chicken parm and thought “I wish I could eat this all the time and have no mess” look no further. That’s what L & L’s chicken roll is all about.

We really enjoy this place. The food is excellent and it has a very chill laid back atmosphere. The second time we visited this place was because the Mexican restaurant next to it had a one hour wait. I'm not waiting one hour and we need that the food here was good. My wife ordered a Italian Stromboli and I had pasta and octopus. They were both exceptionally tasty, and always come out piping hot. In addition, everyone gets a really delicious bread basket with different types of Italian breads, garlic, bruschetta and baked bread. The owner is always cordial and you can see him mingling around talking to people.

If you are in town I would recommend this place. They are fully accessible, and will move tables around for you if you need them to be moved. The bathrooms are also accessible and there are some accessible parking spots available on the street, or in the parking deck behind the courtyard restaurant area. By the way the prices are...
