Frankie's Pasta & Pizza — Restaurant in Mexia

I love the food...it is a little muggy inside...like a hole in the wall diner with pasta and pizza...I've been twice so far...the first time I went I got the mada mio and it was super hot and super yummy I almost ended up ordering it again but my babe encouraged me to try something different and I'm so glad I did. This time i got their shrimp alfredo and added chicken as well. The pasta is perfection so far 2 out of 2. The sauce is sooo creamy and good and well seasoned (not bland like olive garden usually is) their shrimp is half dollar sized or like in between a half dollar and a quarter...their chicken was super good in my opinion. We got the kids pizza and it was ridiculously cheesey like in a good way and it was delicious it didnt stand a chance. I love Italian food. I love the complexity of a vibrant tomato sauce, or the subtlety of a well assembled rague. The problem is, Frankie's doesn't do anything but can made tomato sauce. Let me say this again, CAN MADE TOMATO SAUCE, THAT THEY PUT ON EVERYTHING SO EVERYTHING TASTES EXACTLY THE SAME. Seriously, I don't like to shout, but come on.

I came by one night to take my wife out to dinner as she adores Italian food even more than I do. I just went to frankie’s (9:25pm ) Feb10 2023 , we ordered a small cheese pizza bruschetta 2chicken alfredo , when my Husband was eating the Chicken Alfredo throughout the food he seen something wich we thought was hair unless it was ? anyways we told our waiter she understood no hater on her she took the plate and the owner came and told us that he knows what he cooks and what is in his kitchen . after he then told us if we wanted free food to just tell him . that was basically an insult ?! my thing is IF WE wanted free food dont you think we should’ve asked for a free plate ? or if we didn’t have money we wouldn’t have ate @ home...
