Tex Kitchen Mexico Beach — Restaurant in Mexico Beach

First of all, I ordered 3 tacos and rice and beans. I ordered my food first my mom ordered a rice bowl and my other family members ordered hibachi. Everyone got their food before me and I still waited 10 mins...for 3 tacos! I then go to say something and he said my order was coming up, he tried to hand me a burger and fries, now my order sir. Waited another 5 mins. I get my food and there was no sauce for the tacos. Had to ask for that. The beans were refried, not the pinto beans that are pictured. The rice is dry and no taste, the chicken is not chopped up like the pics either. I was extremely upset and disappointed. Don't recommend but the taco truck down the street is a 10 out of 10. This was our first time trying this food truck. Everyone loved what they got! Any of the nachos are huuggee and amazing. Very generous portions. My brother said the barbacoa tacos were the best he'd ever had. The service was so friendly and engaging. They also have food pagers with was cool to see :) We loved the seating and umbrellas and view of the ocean. We are vacationing in Mexico Beach/Port St Joe area and stopped by here for a late lunch. Wow! I'm so glad we did. We had the Carne Asada Fries and they were delicious! When placing our order he told us it was a larhe enough serving for two and it definitely was! The fries were super crispy, with creamy queso, succulent steak and flavorful pico and guac. Yum!

We may have to stop by again before going home! I highly recommend you stop by if you get the chance! Excellent food and friendly,...
