I had a deeply disappointing experience, especially considering my high expectations from Chef Creole. It's tough when a place I once loved no longer lives up to its reputation, especially when it comes to food that holds cultural significance. When someone from the island cook, they cook with passion. When Haitian cook they cook with pride. Chef Creole lost there pride. I bought two plate of food from the Miami Garden location. I bought a traditional Haitian meal (Grio) and jerk wing non-traditional. The grio was swimming in some sort of liquid and the pork was tuff. I was unease with the liquid and so I did not continue to eat the fried pork. Then I opened the jerk chicken plate and the look was a turn off. The taste was horrible. It did not look or taste like jerk. In the Haitian culture we create Epis to marinate our food. They took about four spoon of the epis, and some meat sauce drop it on some fried wings and call it jerk chicken. I took a bite of a wings to give it a try and I gagged. You could taste the Maggi they used in the epis and more. I trash everything because I did not want to go back and get attitudes on top of this horrible experience. I feel let down that Chef Creole has lost the authenticity and pride in its cooking. For many, food is more than just a meal—it’s a connection to culture and heritage. When that connection is severed, it feel personal. Hopefully, the owner takes my review to heart and considers what made Chef Creole successful in the first place: quality, passion, and pride in serving authentic Haitian cuisine. I hope the Chef Creole take my feedback and make some changes.

There is no price for kindness and quality service. I live 2 minutes away and have been living here for over 20 years. The Chef Creole near here was forgettable. It was disorganized, hard to reach, and stingy. As a Haitian man I would go 15 minutes to some spot in North Miami instead. NOT ANYMORE! 3 months ago they changed management and MERCI JEZI OU SOVE’M cause boy the energy is brighter, food presentation better, PRICING is crazy BUT you know what, she goes above and beyond and I need more people like that in this world so I have to take the time to commend the direction and my appreciation for just the little things. Keep moving forward!

I brought the food yesterday & omg there was soooooo much oil at the bottom of the rice!!!! I honestly don’t feel good right now which made me come write this review :(…..Usually it’s not like that so I was definitely disappointed. When I got home & opened the bag my pikliz was barely full as if it was used :/ like bra totally blew me cause they don’t let you to get a small one for .50 (like they used to) you have to buy a whole jar for $8 …. Lesson learned tho should’ve cooked at home🙏….

Sooo... I commissioned Chef Creole to cater my event after being a patron for about 20 years. It was a little hard to get someone to answer the phone initially, but they do offer 24 hours advance notice to place a catering order. When I did reach someone by the next day, she was very pleasant. I made her ensure that someone in-store would expect me to come and in and pay my deposit. When I arrived, they did expect as promised and there was no confusion. I paid a little extra for delivery and the food was delivered one hour before the scheduled time. As a party planner, I have no complaints. The food was professionally packaged and tasty: all of my guests enjoyed it. I am satisfied with my catering experience at Chef Creole. Thanks for everything guys and I do hope you go back to taking regular orders over the phone. Perhaps create an app where customers would have to pay in advance before picking up their order. Just a thought......

First time visiting this restaurant, very long wait to place my order and another long waiting time for the food. The menu prices l was told was not correct. The menu stated that fried conch was $12.00 but was told that it cost $16.00. Was out of many things on the menu.l got so tired of waiting for the food l asked for my money back .This place is poorly operated, my food wasn't that good, conch was not cooked to good, rice and peas kinda dry,and not much flavor and the inside of the restaurant is dying for a makeover. This is typical of most Island restaurants, customer service is very poor and understaffed. Too much taking out all the revenue and not spending money to upgrade and staff the place.Take notes from PolloTropical on how to run a successful restaurant. I will not be going back here again and I let...
