China Town — Restaurant in Miami Gardens

Today, I experienced what I strongly believe was racial profiling at their establishment, and it left me feeling deeply embarrassed and uncomfortable. The woman who usually takes my order suddenly examined my bill in an exaggerated and suspicious manner…so noticeably that two Black men seated nearby even mentioned she had done the same thing to them….theyy also pointed out that when a white customer came in, she didn’t check her bill at all. Dat confirmed for me that what I felt wasn’t in my head when I asked her why she did it, she rolled her eyes, smirked, and then shouted something in her language as I was leaving. My order was via UberEats and I ordered Chicken Lo Mein, Chicken Fried Rice with Chicken Wings, Egg Fried Rice with Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Tso Chicken with White Rice and an order of Crab Sticks. My main reason for ordering from this spot was because of the crab sticks and they did not disappoint! They were nicely flavored and crispy. However I am not a fan of their fried rice, the rice is different and kind of on the burnt side. I did like their noodles. It was delicious, flavorful and most importantly not dry. The Tso Chicken was a bit on the very sweet side and had a metal after taste. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was a bit hard, they over cooked it. My favorite item from this entire order was the crab sticks, but they are a bit on the pricey...

This was my second time ordering from this restaurant. One item was missing upon delivery. When I called to let them know, the young lady on the phone refused to believe that the item was missing. She told me to look again, which I did, still no sweet and sour chicken. I ordered dinner for my brother, parents, and two small children. They were all sitting at the table listening to the older lady in the background call me a liar and accuse me of trying to get free food. It was a $60 meal the order before that was a $75 meal.
