La Caridad Cafeteria — Restaurant in Miami Gardens

I use to frequent this pace for breakfast and lunch when I worked in the area. I drove by and wanted to check it out because they always had a nice breakfast prices were fair but that was then. I was sticker shock a cuban breakfast $11.00 so apssed ordered an empanada and a coffee, well they were both terrible. The empanada was deep fried in old oil it tasted like a chinese eggroll had some vegetables really weird. The coffee was terrible not sure what cheap brand they use and probably cheap milk I can still taste that horrible taste. I did question the $11 cuban breakfast price because this is a tiny spot and Cuban so was not expecting that price at all. The lady said to me that it is because "egss are too expensive" even if you are paying $12 a dozen which no one is in the biz caost would be $2.00. Do yourself a favor bring back the latino atmosphere and prices and the place wil be packed like...

Love them the prices are more than fair. The food is freshly prepared in front of you in their open kitchen. I usually get a cuban steak sandwich and a milk shake (it's a no fail all around )

The ladies are polite and friendly
