I came here for a friends birthday party. My first time ever coming here, after getting inviting so many times, and declining because of what I heard from others and saw on the news. I came here on a Sunday afternoon, and we parked directly in the front (very convenient). Came in, security check our purses and also checked us. Got inside, it was a nice little crowd (not to packed at the time lol). I danced, the DJ was playing some nice music, that had the crowd/people moving (dancing). The bar maid/waitresses (the two that we had, I don't remember their names) was very tentative, nice, and they explained everything to us, every time we had questions. Finally, the friend who birthday party showed up, and we went to a big red booth, big enough for all of her guests, and right in front of the bar. We sat, we stood, we danced, we ate (had a large chicken wing/French fry platter), we drank (5 bottles of Patron) we smoked on hookahs (3 to be exact), we vibe with other people. Overall, I had a great time while I was there. No drama! Just GOOD VIBES ONLY!! We left around 6:30PM, and about that time, the club was packed with more people. I would recommend coming to Studio 183 on a Sunday afternoon, because it's...
Read moreWalked into this lounge expecting a chill vibe, but instead, I got a front-row seat to chaos. The place was packed—not in a fun, lively way, but in a nowhere-to-sit, shoulder-to-shoulder, why-am-I-even-here kind of way. Smoke filled the air like they were hosting a “Who Can Cough the Loudest?” competition, and the overall atmosphere? Straight-up ratchet.
The music was loud (which I expected), but the crowd? A mix of people arguing, standing around doing nothing, and others just… being extra for no reason. The energy felt more like a parking lot after a club than an actual lounge.
Safe to say, I didn’t stay long. Didn’t bother ordering a drink, didn’t bother looking around—just turned right back around and left. Giving this place one star because zero isn’t an option and because I physically made it through the door, but honestly? I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you enjoy secondhand smoke, no seating, and...
Read moreI frequent this place usually on Friday for happy hour which a vibe but the Sunday I went for brunch was not that good. Only say that because they knew it was a big weekend in Miami and it opened at 12. We had to wait almost two hours to eat because they had to go out and buy breakfast items. I’m sure that’s not often it wasn’t a good look either. Other than that studio is fun but go early on Fridays at least. You pay 20 and drink free until around 8 but the bartenders start to get attitudes after seeing you a lot coming to the bar. They want you to tip them like 10 bucks every time you come to the bar although it’s free drinks. Come early enjoy early so you can...
