I’ve been coming here since i moved to miami in 2020. I placed an order with fresh and nice Caribbean cuisine and 2mins before my order was due to be finished however i received a cancellation notification that the merchant canceled my order and that i called to cancel., which is very untrue, i didn’t call to cancel. Mind you this is the day before thanksgiving at 8:30.. this really threw me especially being that I watch the timing on my phone to make sure that I don't miss it because we all know how Uber is on orders sometimes. So l've been charge for the food and they lied about the way that my order was canceled. Uber expressed that i should’ve received a notification to change my order due to unavailable items however I wasn't given a notification about them not having the item listed on the order that I selected... so then i proceeded to called the store and they expressed that they didn't have any more brown stew chicken the person upfront canceled my order and that I need to talk to Uber eats to handle that fee... here’s the kicker Uber won’t refund you your money if the cancellation says that you called to cancel. Now That was all the money l had and my friend allowed me to use the credit card to get food because I didn’t have any to feed myself and my child due to my check not coming on time to get food. I think what pissed me off more was the way the staff responded very nonchalantly and a sense o not giving any fks as to the position they’ve put me in. So now here i am with my child no food, no way to get any, can’t get a refund because of Uber and the way this company cancelled my order and not to mention i have to work a double on thanksgiving while worrying about my kid not eat and myself as well. Thank you for such a bad experience especially right before a family holiday. Be careful when ordering from them. I’m never going back. The fact that y’all can do that and Uber allows it and you placed myself and my child in an unfavorable position with the don’t give a care attitude completely turned me off from the company. Never going back and at this point the energy there is not something i want to be part of...
Read moreCustomer service was one of the worst if ever experienced. I was there December 2023 around the 20th. They hardly had anything on the menu and instead of telling me what they did have, the girl up front had me guessing while she just stood there with an uninterested look on her face. She brought the food out and went in the back where the kitchen was, and there she stayed. She left so fast, I didn't even get to order a drink. The food was better than what I had eaten at other places, so I decided to get food for later. I was saying excuse me.....miss..... for her to come out, I even opened and closed the front door because I figured it would alert her that someone was coming in, and still no sign of her. I had to call the restaurant from cell phone. She answered and I told her I was out front and I need something. I proceeded to plave my order, just for her to tell me they didnt have that either. The whole time, she has a look like I was bothering her. I was completely over it at that point. Not everyone is made for a customer service position. I've seen similar reviews to mine and it seems the restaurant needs someone new at this point. I personally will never go back, but for the sake of future customers, train...
Read moreComing from London, England and living in a prominent Jamaican community I’ve grown to know what is a good Caribbean cuisine and what isn’t.
Make no mistake, This is categorically the best Caribbean food I’ve tried, from the curry goat to the jerk chicken. As soon as you open the box (which is huge by the way) it is evident that pure love and care has been put in to the food. As some of you connoisseurs may know that there are two sides of the coin when it comes to this food, it’s either bland or delicious a Fresh & Nice definitely falls into the latter!
Friendly advice: If you are new to Caribbean food it is highly recommended you call in first - due to high demand, food can go quicker than they can update their delivery systems, so again, if you’re hungry, call and confirm that they have the actual dish in stock...
