Mejor Pan Con Lechon — Restaurant in Miami

Without a doubt the best place to eat Pan con Lechon. This is the traditional Cuban pork sandwich. You can order a normal sandwich, aprox 6" to one that's twice the size. You can customize your sandwich by letting them know what you want in it. The house sandwich has onions, BBQ Sauce, Cuban or regular. They pack it with shoe string french fries. There are more Cuban food entries on the menu and personally I think they are all delicious. Food is fresh. You can get your order to go, sit on the front counter or in the back they have a large room with tables and chairs. They are mostly jam packed but the service is fast. If you enjoy Cuban salsa they always have it playing in their music system. Clean and the sandwiches are made in front of you. Beautiful and attentive ladies. Highly recommended. Inexpensive. Parking is for approximately 25 to 30 vehicles. Don't be alarmed if you see police cruisers in the establishment. Our boys in Blue know where the good food is at. Pan con lechón that is what they are known for but it's not as great as it ones was back say 10 years ago...you would actually get a full Cuban bread sandwich made...now it looks like a french Cuban bread on a diet...

The chicharrones are a bit burnt most of the time like they trying to do things faster when things of that nature take a bit of time to fry it and refry it...sometimes u get the more burnt parts chredded through out the sandwich. ..

And The price...well let's just say it's not the cheapest...and you stay hungry...yes a full 'Cuban bread' you do stay hungry...

Back then when they did their Cuban sandwich pan con lechón you could barely eat half of it and you were full...now you eat the whole thing and you stay thinking maybe I should get 1...

I was looking forward to my pan con lechón ! It had been over a year from my last visit to this location! I went during lunch hours to my surprise, It was quite empty. I move forward to order two sandwiches with drinks. We seat in the front of the establishment in the patio furniture available. It’s to be noted that the customer service is zero to none. Not friendly or helpfulat all. In fact they make you feel that asking for napkins it’s a crime. The staff are just horrible!!! The truth is that I probably will never go back!
