Plate — Restaurant in Miami

Was looking for a quick breakfast with my boyfriend and was very happy that we found Plate! Lucky enough we found parking right at the store front but I could imagine that parking could get complicated later in the day since its located right on Coral Way in the Coral Gables Area.

My boyfriend ordered the Bagel Sandwich with Bacon $4.85 and I ordered the Breakfast Wrap with Bacon $4.35. The moment we took a bite we immediately commented to each other on how good our meals tasted. Simple sounding menu items, but Plate is making it delicious---there was strangely significant elevating factors to both! The bagel sandwich, served on an a hearty everything bagel, was next level because of the oh-so delicious cheese and large ingredient portion. The reason I loved my wrap because it wasn't egg with bacon it was BACON with egg! It was literally stuffed with multiple strips of bacon and light egg.......perfection! We also checked in for the guava cheese bread pudding and not being sweets people, we loved it! We honestly devoured it because it was so good, a definitely must do if you are here!

I can't wait to return to try their lunch menu filled with tempting sandwich options, all at a great price! I recommend highly to those that work in the area, even the chefs of the area were...

If I could give this a zero star on service I would, first the cashier charged us for an extra coffee we didn’t order no big deal we just had someone in our group drink it. The egg white omelette was horrible but my friend ordered the breakfast bowl which was amazing, I explained to the guy who I’m assuming it’s husband and wife that I didn’t like it and asked if I could trade it out… he says oh sure what do you not like I told him and placed my order he then still messes it and adds onions and brings me a second check. I go into question the second check after I eat, he proceeds to get a woman from the kitchen to argue with me also. He says he is a family business and can’t help if his customers don’t like how something taste… for example if I don’t like the coke in the cooler it’s not his fault. I never leave bad reviews even if I’m dissatisfied, however they were so rude and did everything sketchy on trying to slide the 2nd check in. I highly...

Delicious fresh food. My office is located exactly across the street from this restaurant, and my staff has lunch here everyday. The delivery is free (since we are so close) and the people who work there are amazing. I am in love with the Cesar Chicken Salad (best thing ever - no need for dressing) and the Nutella Bread Pudding ( be warned - it's addicting). A meal is never complete without the Nutella. The Chicken Club is delicious, the Picadillo is light and healthy, the drinks are nutritious, and the desserts are addicting. Tastes homemade and the food is very fresh. I usually do not give reviews on google, but Plate deserves it.
