Special Pizza Gourmet — Restaurant in Miami

Just awful... I asked the front desk at the hotel for a recommendation for delivery and they gave me special pizza gourmet. The delivery was 20 minutes late totaling an hour and 20 minutes and they only accept cash. The food was awful. The chicken noodle soup was from out of a can and the ravioli was chef boyardee. They forgot the ranch for the chicken tenders and the marinara for the calamari. I called them right away and they told me it would be 20 minutes before we would get it. I then asked them to resend a new order of chicken tenders and calamari and they wanted to charge me for it. I told them forgetting the marinara and the ranch was not my error, it was theirs and they hung up on me. Went to bed thinking they were not coming and arrived about 25 minutes later and brought chicken tenders and ranch packets along with marinara but no calamari. Where to begin—this was an experience all around. We were looking for dinner options at our hotel around 11pm, and the front desk recommended this place as the only delivery option available. After waiting over an hour, the pizza finally arrived, but the delivery experience was terrible. The driver was rude and unhelpful when I tried to pay by credit card, even though the printed menu advertised that option. He insisted I call a number and give my card details over the phone, which I refused. We eventually settled on Zelle, but even then, the final bill didn’t add up—there was nearly a $20 surcharge on a $25 pizza, which he brushed off as “shipping and fees.”

The food itself was just as disappointing. The pizza was made with low-quality ingredients, soggy to the point it couldn’t hold its shape, and simply inedible. I felt completely scammed paying nearly $50 for something I wouldn’t eat again under any circumstance. Honestly, I’d rather skip dinner or eat cereal than order...

Called and placed order no problem, there was a 40mins wait time for delivery no problem. Food arrived at 40 mins after ordering, the complete order of food was cold, not even warm, COLD COLD COLD... food taste good for price but I was expecting it at least warm... had to heat up on microwave... order chicken wings and the blue cheese dip was a salad dressing instead... a dip it’s a dip, no a dressing. Order a flan and received a coconut flan - I don’t eat coconut and it was hard and dry... nasty! I had to waste it... money lost on that. The tiramisu was a mess due that the delivery person did not care for the handling of it... Recommend that the delivery person takes more care due that they represent you and delivering the food like that makes you look bad. I could have given more stars but service and quality fail bad...
