This place has generally good food, but it's remarkably overpriced. The wait staff is largely attentive, but poorly trained for a restaurant that's trying to present as high end (for example, they took five minutes to figure out which starter items are gluten free). But most annoyingly, and the thing that made this a three star review rather than a four star review, was the lump crab Cobb salad. Both the waiter and the menu dramatically misrepresented the salad. When we asked how much crab was on the salad, the waiter said "four and a half or five ounces", which is a good portion and would make salad worth the $55 price. Instead, what we got was maybe one and a half ounces at most. And that tiny amount of crab was nestled among a huge pile of cheap, tasteless iceberg lettuce, rather than the baby gem lettuce the menu promised. Between that tiny amount of crab and the tiny, overpriced lamb chops ($45 for 2 bones, each with about one bite of meat on it), we ended up leaving hungry and disappointed. This place could be good, but it seems they price things for their captive audience, who don't have any good options around due to the bad location. I will say that they ultimately comped us the salad, which was considerate (and not requested). But even so, I doubt we will return to take our chances again.

Yaya is an absolute gem, especially for dessert lovers – the cheesecake baklava deserves an award! I’d rate it a solid 9.4 for its unique flavor and texture. The hummus is also top-tier, paired with soft, doughy, and crisp edges pita that’s truly memorable. Top hummus in Miami. Service was excellent, a full 10/10. My group arrived late, and the staff helped us right away. Kelly, the bartender outside, went above and beyond, accommodating us in a comfortable lounge area where we could relax, have a couple of drinks, and catch up. It was perfect for a group setting. The music was just right, loud enough to enjoy but soft enough to easily hold a conversation. Though I didn’t get the chance to try the lobster risotto this time, I’ve heard great things and can’t wait to come back and finally have it. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a mix of great food, ambiance, and service!

Yaya Coastal was an amazing experience from start to finish. The beautiful views and excellent service set the tone, and I was a little worried the food might not match the ambiance but it absolutely did. We began with the mezze plate, which was a perfect way to start the meal, followed by baked clams that were rich and delicious. The octopus was cooked to perfection (a rarity in Miami). For mains, the branzino was fresh and tender, while the lamb chops were flavorful and perfectly prepared. Definitely a highlight. To end on a sweet note, the cheesecake baklava is a must-try...decadent, unique, and the perfect finish to a memorable dinner. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. A perfect experience 5 stars.

Yaya continues to exceed all expectations, delivering an unforgettable dining experience every time! While we didn’t arrive by boat on this visit, the option to pull up right to the restaurant by water is one of our favorite features and always adds a unique touch to our evenings out.

The menu was an absolute delight. We started with the hummus and olive tapenade duo, paired with a fresh and vibrant fattoush salad. The flavors were perfectly balanced and set the tone for the rest of the meal.

The second course was a true standout. The flaming saganaki was as entertaining as it was delicious, while the crispy eggplant & zucchini and roasted cauliflower were cooked to perfection—flavorful, light, and satisfying.

For the main course, the arayes burger, Bella Evans chicken, and crispy branzino were all spectacular. Each dish was beautifully prepared with bold, authentic Mediterranean flavors that left us savoring every bite. The grilled Mediterranean vegetables and loaded Greek fries were the perfect accompaniments, rounding out the meal wonderfully.

On top of the exceptional food, the service was flawless. The team at Yaya is always attentive, friendly, and professional, making the experience seamless and enjoyable. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, creating the perfect setting for a memorable evening.

Yaya is a true gem, whether you arrive by boat or not! The food, service, and atmosphere are consistently outstanding. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Five stars...

We recently dined at this stunning waterfront Mediterranean restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday. YAYAS COASTAL CUISINE, it was an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was captivating. The restaurant has a breathtaking view of the ocean, with outdoor seating that allows you to enjoy the serene surroundings while savoring your meal or favorite drink. The decor is elegantly Mediterranean, with warm, earthy tones, beautifully decorated with lush olives trees and other greeneries that perfectly complements the place. The atmosphere is both relaxed and upscale, making it ideal for both a romantic dinner or a leisurely lunch with friends. The menu is a delightful exploration of Mediterranean flavors, offering a variety of fresh seafood, vibrant salads, and delicious grilled meats. Each dish is artfully presented and bursting with flavor, clearly made with the freshest ingredients. The octopus was tender and perfectly seasoned, as was the ribeye steak. The wine list is extensive, featuring an excellent selection. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, offering great recommendations and ensuring that each guest feels well taken care of. Overall, this waterfront Mediterranean restaurant is a gem. It offers a perfect combination of stunning views, exceptional cuisine, and top-notch service. Whether you're looking for a special occasion spot or a place to enjoy a delicious meal by the water, this restaurant is highly...
