Don't ask for Betty or honestly anyone but she is honestly the worst. Wish I could give 0 stars. I absolutely hated this place. The staff who did my nails at this location were so rude, like a passive aggressive, fake nice persona. My nails were handled so roughly I was in pain and was even worried at one point that she was filing my nails so hard that they were going to be ripped off (she was pushing up to the point where I could feel pain in my nail bed from my nail almost just splitting off from my finger). I wanted to scream and leave 5 minutes in. I have a cuts on every finger. The whole manicure was a mess (no water involved everything was done completely DRY. They used a DRILL TO CUT MY CUTICLES DRY.) I was in pain the whole manicure and I've never felt that way at any nail salon before. I still feel pain even moving my fingers. Again this is the ABSOLUTE WORST place I've been to. Didn't even seem sanitary and when she was done she just stored the manicure tools back in the same place without even cleaning them to use on the next person. DON'T waste your money here. Other nail salons can do just as good nail art if not better and can offer you better care as a customer. I tried to give this place a chance because my original one was booked, but I'm never coming here again and definitely not recommending it to anyone unless it's someone I truly dislike.

To the staff: If anything I said offends you or your business in any way, I'd love you to know that was purely intentional. It's okay, not every place can be great or even good. And if you try to come on here and try to give a fake response like all the other reviews without just taking the genuine criticism as it is, then I'll absolutely come back and make it even more specific for you, you jerks. And if i see you've deleted my review again I'll literally come back. Have...

I got here late from taking the bus but thankfully I was still able to be scheduled later in the day to get my eyebrows done. I came back about 30 min later after eating with my bf, and I waited till Angie was done with her previous client. I explained to her that my brows were mishandled from a previous lady that threaded them at The Brow Spot Miami. And I really didn’t trust anyone with my brows. She was very delicate and made sure to comb and cut my brows. I decided last min I would get their tinting, and it went extremely well. I payed a good price and she tinted them before she waxed them which was great. She took her time and didn’t rush either. When she was done I cried, I looked in the mirror and cried because my brows looked how they used to months ago before my horrible threading experience. Angie took great care of my brows, please look into going here for eyebrows and tinting, I have never done tinting to my brows and it was the best first experience of my life. I feel confident about my brows again, and I’m so happy I finally found someone reliable to go to. Customer service is great and girls that work there are supportive of you as a customer and their business as nail techs. Five stars for excellence and experience with Nail Bar. Too many rude businesses and people that own them here in Miami. But take a visit to Nail Bar with their calm and relaxing space and you’ll feel the difference with how much they care about...

The nail tech arrived over an hour late to my appointment, which I understand things happen but let me know so I don’t have to wait an hour because you ā€˜didn’t know that I was YOUR 10am appointment’. The equipment she used on me wasn’t sterile! The nail tech took out a used pair of nail clippers with visible residue from the previous client. During COVID times especially it is important to sterilize all your equipment. That is so so dangerous. Which is why I won’t go back here. I asked if she could do a design, she confidently said yes, and couldn’t do a simple design I showed her. It was literally the simplest design. The polish mixed together and bled all over the nail and she blamed it on the fact that the polish was oil based, like what? That isn’t my problem. And she had the audacity to still charge me $10 for it. I don’t want to name any names, but they know who I’m talking about. It was my first time at this salon and I would never go back. All the other nail techs seemed ok and very nice but I had a bad experience, not to mention she cut me during the pedicure with UNSTERILE equipment and I now have an infection in my toe. Don’t...

I want to preface this extremely honest review with the fact that mistakes happen, nail technicians are people and despite this I am very happy with how my nails turned out. Jaime did a great job on my dip powder and chrome effect nails. And Laura as well on my chrome toes. My nails look beautiful! Now, the website for this salon is extremely misleading. It seems to be very well done and even mentions ā€œbeast modeā€ kind of artistic nails. However, upon arrival I was met with a subpar salon whose overall look that does not match their prices. And, yes those prices are correct. I spent $231.55 on a somewhat basic ā€œdesignā€, if you can call it that. In addition, they charge a $30 up charge for chrome nails which is an application of powder. In addition, Jaime seemed to be in a hurry the entire time. She cut one of my cuticles too short and left me with blood on my nail. Laura dropped the chrome powder on the floor and they both proceeded to use the same powder on my nails. Again, people make mistakes but the overall vibe their website portrays a level of professionalism that is just not there.

After searching for quality living in Miami for 35 years, I come across a salon my husband brought me to. I was tired of paying for ombrĆ© acrylics that would fall off or just break in half a day later, and still pay $85 including tip. First time was for pedi, shown below, got it mar24th gel polish still holding strong and pedi with minor pumice at home maintenance, still rocking. So I go back and meet Angie, I was too tired of my go to long ombrĆ© or long full set with design , because of my aforementioned waste of money. So I asked for an overlay to try and put something decent on my brittle, short, post-acrylic ripping off of nails, with gel polish And my designs. She killed it. In a good way ofc. I came home and built a cat tree (if you know you know) and I’m super impressed. Nails were $85 overlay with gel polish and four finger designs. Plus tip $15. I always say, I don’t mind paying for quality And this place, you get quality. Ps this place is my new go to. Wonder what design I will pick next, they specialize in nail art. Great location.

Being able to book online gets them one star, but the experience, horrible. It’s been two weeks since my initial set and three of my nails have already popped off my entirely (one in the first week) I can tell they are not bonding the acrylics appropriately because underneath- my real nails don’t even look touched. Crazy for the prices they charge. This is in walking distance of my home and I would have made it my regular spot if they produced quality. I was a bartender in nyc getting $40 sets that would NOT COME OFF NO MATTER WHAT. So it’s really crazy to pay more than double for what is essentially press on nails. The girl rolled her eyes at me for tipping $12 on my first visit? Girl, I could write volumes on the entitlement that runs rampant. If they’d like to fix all these issues, I’d consider them. But until then, NYC CHICAS ISSA NO.
