Cellar door is a major vibe! They have exclusive local beers on tap, super good food, and cute vintage arcade games.

They have lots of cool cocktails and beers on tap. I had the “tequila mockingbird” drink, it was delicious. I had a bunch of the “burn em-looking glass lager”, which was the exclusive beer. I loved it, would drink again.

For food, i had the korean fried chicken sandwich and fries. Ive become a bit of a chicken sandwich aficionado, and the korean fried chicken at cellar door, was exceptional. Easy to claim that its the best chicken sandwich in michigan city. Fries were nice, as well.

We really loved the vintage arcade bowling game. Its a really cool spin on skee ball and miniature bowling. They also have some pinball machines, it...

Already obsessed!!!! The Cellar Door nails it, from the food to the atmosphere. I had the Korean fried chicken sandwich (10/10), the hush puppies (perfection), and the 1861 cocktail (chefs kiss). Everything was delicious, fresh, and so flavorful!

The building is gorgeous, all the historic charm without feeling like you’re in a museum. And that outdoor space? Amazing!!! Already planning my next trip so I can eat my way through the entire menu 🤌

Be sure to put this on your list in Michigan City, you won’t be...

Elizabeth took excellent care of us! Get the hush puppies. You won't be disappointed! The Cellar Door has something for everyone. If you're looking for a night out where you can dress up, the front bar area can do that for you. If you're looking for a nostalgic vibe with vintage pinball and a bowling machine, the back bar is your spot. There's a patio nook for a little fresh air, too! The owners have taken a lot of pride in this place...

We had dinner and drinks and loved it. Strong local beer lineup, well made cocktails, and a solid wine list. The food was excellent and the vibe is warm. The space flows well, so it’s easy to hang out. They created a space that would be great for a dinner date or to watch the game on a Sunday afternoon. I’m really impressed with the versatility of the place. Overall a very good time. Highly recommend.
