We actually went to Rosie's 3 times in as many days, because my Dad was visiting from Michigan and I believe he had been in some kind of "Rosie withdrawal," because after living in this area for many years, his twice weekly Rosie meals had always enjoyable (and apparently missed) for Dad! To save space and retain some interest from the reader, I'll only cover the "Sunday morning brunch visit..." Upon pulling into the parking lot and circling 6 times to discover there was NO parking available, I hastily messaged Dad and said, "we're going somewhere else!" My brother then promptly called Rosie's and was told they would have a table for 5 for us in "15 minutes." Incredibly, they did, in fact, have a table for us. To make it even better, Dad's favorite waitress (Anita) was still there, much to his delight. Even as busy as she was, she still took a few moments to talk to Dad, remembering not only that he has moved to Michigan, but how long it has been (3 years!), making Dad feel special and important, though I know she didn't have time for that. The only real negative that we had was that the meal took over an hour to get to us after we had placed the order. (Again, they were slammed!) But the food was good, hot, and prepared exactly the way we ordered it (we had medium well, medium, and medium rare burgers, each done exactly the way it was ordered! Ask in all, the meal was 'almost' worth waiting for (an hour is a really long time)! Bottom line: Don't let a very full parking lot deter you - but, be prepared that your meal may take significantly longer than it usually would. It will be...
Read moreThe most deplorable service we have EVER had any where. Waitress who is not only scatter brained and too busy flirting with young men but discusses her nose ring and pain ... At the counter where others eat. Takes 10-20 minutes to get a menu or even drinks. I could understand if it were busy but hardly anyone at the counter. By the time we got our meal we were ready to walk out. My husband's burger was okay. He wasn't asked how he liked it cooked so it was a bit under cooked from his normal. My hot turkey sandwich, let's say the hottest thing about it was gone long before it came out. I ordered sweet potato fries with it, 20 minutes into the wait for the food, the waitress then lets me know they were out. I was ready to say forget the whole meal but wanted to be fair and gave them a final try.
The ONLY good thing was, it was real turkey.
Im so sorry i did.
As for my samdwich, she never asked the kind of bread I wanted so i got one i never eat and still dont. You have to ask for straws. The stool my husband was on nearly dumped him on floor. It needs to be fixed.
Most waitresses ask how your meal is. Not this one.
Also, very blantantly rude with her remarks. Conversation regarding liver Her response was " usually it is only the really old people who order it. You know the ones with no sense of smell"
I found that highly offensive!
Just glad this waitress will be moving to I believe she said N. Carolina mid October.
Do not waste your...
Read moreYou’d think doing a take out order wouldn’t cause any issue but the staff there is just beyond rude. We had called and asked to place a take out order, after making the order the person over the phone made comments like “you need that much” and “wow okay” after asking for an extra dressing. Asking what they had for a kids menu seemed like an inconvenience and they answered by saying “what do you mean it’s just everything smaller portions obviously”. After pushing those comments aside and waiting for the order going in to get the food was yet again, another inconvenience to them. You can tell (at least with me) they had no patience and we’re going as quickly as possible to get me in and out. Conversation was quick. She saw I had a card out and didn’t say anything so I slid it across the table and she grabbed the receipt and handed it to me without a word. There was another women next to her also not saying a word. As a business who serves many people a day and me personally, someone who works with and around 500+ people you’d think the service and responses from staff would have been better. The food was average. The salad looked like it was just a premade bag you could buy at a store for less and the fries were cold and most were hard. The club sandwich was probably the only flavorful and good thing out of the meal. After going there on and off for 10 years we will not be returning. Disappointed to...
