KFC — Restaurant in Middlesborough

The Middlesboro KY KFC is the 2nd worst drive through restaurant experience we've ever had. Every single time we order the $5 pot pie fill up which includes the potpie, drink and cookie. 95% of the time we don't get cookies. They need to not include them in the meal or stop eating them. My husband just went through, ordered 3 potpie fillups and said he got a veteran's discount. The girl says "I need to see ID" like this 63 yr old man with a face full of titanium is lying to save 65 cents. He shows her the mitary ID and she just shoves it back, no thank you for your service or even a smile. She finally starts handing him 3 drinks, 1 at a time and when he asked for a holder she exasperatedly shoved that at him. She closes the window and he sits waiting. She comes back and asked why he was still blocking the drive thru, he said he was waiting on the rest of his order. "I ordered 3". "Didn't you get them?" "Did you hand me 3?" I am SO tired of coming here & the employees are not listening. I absolutely HATE the original recipe & LOVE the extra crispy. So you can bet whenever I order for myself, I ALWAYS say "extra crispy"! I ordered the $7 chicken strip meal and told them "extra crispy". The girl who placed the order repeated it back to me so it was not her fault. I received 4 TINY strips(more like nuggets) and they were original recipe! I did not check my order before leaving because I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO!!! I have been avoiding this location for a long time because of the ongoing issues like this every time I've come there. But I always try again & hope for better. Well, this is it for me! I ordered the 8 piece family meal using the drive thru. While waiting to give my order, 5 vehicles pulled out of line, I waited at at least 10 minutes just to place my order. When I got home, I was shocked to see the condition of my chicken. It was dark brown with some black burnt areas (see photo). The biscuits where so hard, one could use them for wheel chocks. My 2 large sides were ok, but the gravy was in an individual serving container, not even enough for one serving of mashed potatoes. Worst family meal I've ever wasted $23.35. on. If you order thru, check your meal before you drive off. Colonel Sanders would turn over in his grave if he saw this type of meal going out his store. Good luck...
