FYI: anyone who plans to have a birthday party, I would NOT recommend that you choose to do so at McDonalds in Middlesboro beside of Kroger. I reserved to have my daughters 3rd Birthday there today at 3. I was told the day I scheduled that cost to have a party there was that you had to buy at least $25 work of kids meals. I was fine with that. Nothing else was said. So I called yesterday to confirm my scheduled appointment. All was well. Once again nothing was ever explained to me as far as rules, etc. I confirmed with them the time I needed to be there to start decorating. I was told I couldnāt be there anytime before 2:30. Okay, once again, all was well. We arrived today right at about 2:35. We walk in, absolutely nothing had been done to the play area. It was a total mess, along with there had NOT been an area marked off for my reservation that I had made weeks in advance. SO, I walked to the counter and told them about my reservation. All the workers looked at me like they had no idea what I was talking about. Finally, one proceeded to take it upon herself to walk out and find an employee to just grab a rag and wipe down the tables. & thatās literally all that was done. A quick swipe of the rag across the tables. Never did they once offer to clean the floors which the children would be playing on š¤·āāļø as if that didnāt piss me off enough, the play area was extremely HOT! So I once again went to the front, this time asking for a manager. A woman that looked no older than maybe 18 approached me. I explained to her what had just happened and she shrugged it off like it wasnāt a big deal. So I asked about the area being HOT. She comes back with āThe AC stopped workingā. Okay, why could I have not been told that the AC was not working yesterday when I called so I could have cancelled and rescheduled my daughters party elsewhere. So I asked if they had any fans. Once again, I was told no. At this point, Iām pretty livid but we proceeded with the party because the kids was enjoying themselves on the playground. After a little time had passed, I went to order the kids meals. Upon ordering, Iām told that they are completely out of the girls toys. That only aggravated me more. But once again, I went about my business. Got the meals and let the kids eat and play. After the kids finished their meals, I was going to treat them with some ice cream. Had their hopes up to only, take a guess, get to the counter for them to tell me that their ice cream machine is down. Long story short, we had some very horrible service there on top of the actual restaurant in very poor condition. The trash cans were overflowing and the lobby literally smelled...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreSecond time using the drive through and once again received a subpar lunch meal. Ordered the quarter pounder meal. Asked that NO onions on my burger. Got onions, had to pick them off. Asked for mayonnaise. I did get mayonnaise but it wasn't on the burger. Whoever made it must have been gossiping. Bun was dry, meat was cold and didn't melt the small piece of cheese. Lettuce was turning brown. Two stars because the fries were warm not hot and drink was right. What is happening? I can remember when McDonald's was a great place to eat. Hot, fresh and reasonably priced. I understand the employees are from a generation of "I want and deserve" things but don't want to work for them. Best of luck to you if you use the drive through. If drive through customers would check their meals before leaving the drive through, that might change managements way of providing customer service. Strike 2 Middlesboro...
